“You gonna go?” Will asks, nodding towards my phone.

“Would you be upset if I did?”

“No,” Will says. “We agreed that we’re okay with this.

“I’m not,” Ian says. “I take it back. He can’t have you. You’re mine.”

“Stop.” I shake my head.

“Fine, but I won’t be happy about it.”

“I won’t go if it’s going to bother you.”

Ian sighs. “I’m just being a baby. Go, have fun. We have shit around here to do. Here.” He tosses me the truck keys. “Be safe.”

“Nova,” Will says. “We might approve of this relationship, but be careful. I know telling Nick isn’t going to be an easy thing to do, but don’t hold off for too long. He will be pissed if he finds out you’ve been sneaking around.”

Guilt hits me. I feel bad for keeping this from him. He might be an asshole, but he deserves to know he has another Omega.

I’ll talk to Tucker and let him know that we should tell Nick at least within the next week. As excited as I am to get to know Tucker better, I don’t want to make Nick feel like we wantedto keep our relationship a secret, like we’re doing something wrong.

“I know it’s dumb, but it’s all my stupid brain could think of.” Tucker rubs at the back of his neck.

I stare at the blanket laid out on the sand, lips parted in awe. “You did this for me?” Candles and rose petals scatter the sand nearby and a basket sits in the center of the blanket. “Thank you. This is amazing.”

“Really?” His eyes light up. Fuck, he’s so damn cute. I want to lick his tattoos.

Down Nova. No sex with him until Nick knows.

We sit down and Tucker hands me a blanket. “I got you this.”

“Oh my god, it’s so soft.” I rub it against my face and sigh happily. “It will be perfect for my nest.”

“I was hoping it would be.” He smiles.

I wrap it around my shoulders and smile back. “Thank you. So, what's in the basket?”

“Uhhh, Subway?” He pulls out two subs. “I’m going to be honest, I suck at cooking. Like, I’m the worst. I’m surprised I'm still alive, or that I’m not at least five hundred pounds with the amount of fast food I eat,” he chuckles.

“It’s a good thing I love subs,” I laugh, taking the one he hands me. “What kind is it?”

“Turkey.”

“Wait.” I huff out a breath of amusement. “Is that why you randomly asked me what kind of sandwich you should get for lunch?”

We planned on getting together after I had some time to shower and get ready after leaving the compound. Tucker said something about going to get lunch and he texted me that he wasstuck on what to get. I told him to go with turkey because it’s a safe bet and what I always get. That sneaky little Omega.

“Maybe,” he groans. “It’s weird, right? I’m so damn weird."

“I like weird. But no, it’s not weird. It’s sweet and cute, but not weird.”

Tucker smiles and we both unwrap our subs. We chat between bites and I tell him how I really met the guys. The look on his face was so damn funny.

I wish I took photos of the guys in their elf and Santa costumes. I would have put that on the wall. Maybe I can convince them to do a little role playing next Christmas so I can sneak a photo.

“How many people can say they started a relationship by being kidnapped?” Tucker shakes his head. “That’s crazy.”
