“We’re so excited to be here! I just love your show, and I hope you aren’t upset that I ignored your advice?” The woman sat in the middle, her dark eyes sparkling with an infectious enthusiasm. She was adorable—petite with long black hair in a messy braid, dressed in a riot of colorful fabrics that somehow worked perfectly together.

“No, of course I’m not upset,” I said. “Everyone has to follow their own path.”

“I’m Mioko, and these are my partners, Luke and Eli.”

I tried to maintain my professional composure, but holy shit. The men on either side of her were, to put it bluntly, gorgeous. On her left sat a golden-haired Adonis with chiseled features and an easy smile that probably got him anything he wanted in life. On her right, a broader, darkerman with intense eyes and a quiet confidence that radiated through the screen. They each had an arm draped protectively around Mioko, their bodies angled toward her like flowers turning toward the sun.

“So, M—Mioko,” I corrected myself, “in your email, you mentioned that things almost went horribly wrong?”

Mioko laughed, the sound bright and uninhibited. “Yes, and I’ll admit that you were right. I shouldn’t have meddled.”

“I was right. Those are my three favorite words!” I said.

“Except that she should have meddled,” the golden one—Luke—said. “Because if she hadn’t, then where would we be?”

I leaned in. “Well, now I need to hear the whole story.”

“Well, as I told you before, Luke and Eli had been best friends their whole lives, but they had a falling out years ago. The tension between them was so thick you could cut it with a knife.”

“Sexual tension,” Luke interjected with a grin, earning an eye roll from Eli.

“Anyway, I just knew they belonged together, and I made it my mission to reunite them. I thought I was being so clever, coming up with all kinds of different ways to throw them together, but it kept ending in disaster.”

“So your matchmaking didn’t work?” I asked.

“It did,” she said. “Just not exactly as planned. They found me out and set a trap for me. So my meddling definitely blew up in my face, but in the best possible way. These two reconnected, just like I wanted, but they also decided they wanted to keep me.”

“We didn’t decide anything,” Luke corrected, his eyes softening as he looked at her. “It was more like recognizing something that was already true. The three of us just fit together.”

“So tell me,” I said, pushing that thought away and leaning into my professional persona, “how does it work? Do you all live together? Work together?”

Eli nodded, his arm tightening around Mioko’s shoulders. “We renovated an apartment on my family’s property, which is a historic inn.”

“It’s called the Honeyfern, right?” I asked, giving their small business a tiny plug.

Luke nodded. “Yes. And Mioko just opened a jewelry shop there, too. It’s called Moss & Whimsy. I’m a marketing consultant, so I can work from anywhere, and I’m just along for the ride.”

“And the sex?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. No point dancing around the question my listeners would be most curious about. “How does that dynamic work between the three of you?”

The temperature in the room seemed to rise as the three exchanged heated glances.

“It’s...” Mioko started, then laughed. “I don’t even know how to describe it. It’s like we’re all connecting at once, all three of us bringing something to the table.”

“It’s fucking fantastic,” Luke added bluntly, causing Mioko to blush and Eli to bark out a laugh. “Sorry, can I say that on your podcast?”

“You can say whatever you want,” I assured him, grinning. “This is an adult show.”

“In that case,” Eli said, his voice dropping to a register that probably made panties spontaneously combust in a ten-mile radius, “it’s the best sex of my life. Watching Luke with Mioko, there’s nothing like it. Every position we’ve tried is just amazing, connected, and intense.”

I swallowed hard, suddenly very aware of the heat building between my own legs. “That’s... wow. I think our listeners will find that very inspiring.” I glanced at my notes, trying to regain my composure. “One last question—what advice would you give to anyone who might find themselves unexpectedly falling for multiple people at once?”

“Trust your gut,” Mioko said immediately. “I spent so long running away from connection because I was afraid of being trapped. But loving Luke and Eli doesn’t trap me—it grounds me. Makes me more myself, not less.”

“And you’ll need clear communication,” Luke added. “So much communication.”

“And honesty, above all,” Eli said. “With yourself first, about your sexuality and needs, then with each other.”

I nodded, genuinely moved by their sincerity. “Thank you all so much for sharing your story with us today. It’s been a pleasure having you on The Aimee Position.”
