Working with the horses and having Nolan wrapped around me has made me horny as hell. I walk us forward, backing Nolan up against the barn wall and raising my lips to his. I hear a groan of pleasure as our tongues meet in a dance. His hands travel down to my ass, rubbing and squeezing and guiding me toward his groin. A more intimate dance begins, and, as our breaths quicken, I don’t fight my own need to grind against him. Just as I’m m about to beg him to lower me into the hay, a loud voice interrupts my pleasure.

“Hey, Nolan, you in here?”

We immediately freeze. Nolan lowers his forehead to mine and whispers, “Shit.” Then louder, “Yeah, Sean. Uh, kinda busy right now with the horses. We’llbe out in a minute.”

I can tell Sean’s footsteps have stopped, then he backpedals. Literally and figuratively. “Oh. OH! I’ll just, uh, catch up with you later, dude.”

As the footsteps fade, I begin to giggle.

Nolan grumbles. “What are you laughin’ at? It’s not funny gettin’ cockblocked. Plus, this isn’t how I planned to let Sean know you’re here with me.”

“Don’t be so grumpy. He didn’t see anything. Plus, you’re crazy if you think we’re stopping now.”

Nolan seems to have cooled down. “Sally, you deserve better than a roll in the hay. Let’s find a nice private place with a soft bed so I can love on you properly without interruption.”

“Good lord, country boy! Don’t tell me what Ideserve. I know what Ineed, and it’s for you to take care of business.”

“But…”

“Nolan!” I’m practically screaming now in frustration. “A wise woman once told me the clitoris has fifteen thousand nerves. So, if you’re gonna get on my nerves, please get on one of those!”

Next thing I know, Nolan is laughing hysterically. “Just when I think I’ve heard it all from you, city girl, you surprise me. That’s freakin’ priceless.”

I let out a huff. “Well?”

“Well then, I guess I better take care of business.”

With that, Nolan flips me around so my back is against the wall, and starts an exploration with his lips, heading south. Once on his knees, he unfastens my jeans, and works the zipper down. My heart is beating frantically in anticipation of Nolan claiming his prize.

“Holy Shit! You got that right, Iamthe luckiest man in the world,” Nolan declares.

“What are you talking about now?”

“Right here, next to the zipper on your jeans, it says ‘Lucky You.’”

Oh, yeah. I forgot I had on my favorite Lucky brand jeans. “How about you let me get lucky right now.”

“Happy to oblige, city girl.” Nolan pulls me to his face and dives in.

Chapter 25

Nolan realized he must have drifted off to sleep after their lovemaking, as he woke with Sally in his arms and his nose buried in her fragrant hair. It smelled like a combination of coconut, mango, and some kind of flowers. He loved how her ass fit so perfectly along his crotch. He’d be content to stay in that position all day, but there were some things he still wanted to do before the sun set. He wanted her to help him pick out the perfect tree, and she didn’t know it yet, but he planned for her to take home a kitten as an early Christmas gift. He gently skimmed his fingertips along Sally’s arms and whispered in her ear. “Hey, city girl. Let’s get movin’.”

Sally groaned in protest. “Do we have to? I was enjoying my nap.”

Nolan extracted himself and rose from the bed of straw, extending a hand to Sally. “I’ve got a present for you.” He handed her the clothing he’d removed earlier. Once they were fully dressed, he took hold of her hand again and led her back over to the corner of the barn where Callie and her kittens were still frolicking in the hay. “Pick one to take home.”

Sally squealed in delight. “Are you kidding? I can have a kitten? Will Sean mind?”

“No, he won’t mind. Whichever one you want. Then we’ll stop by the store and get all the supplies and toys a kitten could want.”

Sally went straight for the one she’d been playing with earlier. A male, gray tabby with four white feet. She scooped him up and cuddled him against her neck. Nolan chuckled as he saw sheer joy on her face. “So, what’s his name?”

“I love his white feet. I’m calling him Boots. Short for Puss in Boots.”

“Okay then. I hope he doesn’t turn out to be a little thief like his namesake. Let’s find a box to put Boots in until we get him home. Now it’s time for us to pick out a tree.”
