Missy smiled and said, “I completely understand. They all entered into those business arrangements with Yury, who had already established an excellent reputation. While it was your recommendation which may have influenced them, it was because Yury had already proven himself. With him no longer in this, Gavriil and I need to be very convincing. And, we will be!” She laughed and so did the two men.
Later, up in her room, Missy used her phone to send an encrypted message back to both Mike and Major Grimes. She explained things were going great but that she would be flying back to Moscow on Wednesday and then teleporting home to her Missy Mansion for the full moon celebration that night. She was still trying to determine how she wanted to deal with Nikolai and the three men he had hired to kill her and Yury.
Chapter Thirty
Tuesday, July 12, 2022
Missy had enjoyed the social events on Sunday during which she had exuded charm, confidence, elegance and grace. Although her actions were a bit flirtatious and her outfit was somewhat revealing, she made it clear that she was still very much in mourning for Yury and was not ready to become involved romantically with anyone.
Then, on Monday, she and Gavriil had spent the day at various meetings with all these German company representatives, reviewing the existing contracts with Boris-Apteka and discussing future contracts.
Missy had let Gavriil take the lead during those meetings since he was now the executive director. Gavriil did, of course, emphasize more than once how she was on the board and would be helping influence how the business performed in Russia.
Now today, they were once again gathered in a huge conference room for further meetings. Missy had asked Gavriil to allow her to address the group so she could summarize a few things.
After Gavriil explained this to everyone and introduced Missy, she came up to stand at the small podium which was available. She had Gavriil connect her laptop so the short presentation which she had pulled together could be displayed up on the large screen behind her.
“Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, gentlemen,” began Missy as she made eye contact with everyone there. “I am noticing how the female representation in executive roles in Germany seems to lag as far behind that of men as it does in my native Russia. While I am notcriticizingthat fact, I amacknowledgingit. However, as afemale…” Missy now paused to step from behind the podium so she could gesture at herself. She was again wearing an outfit which showed off her voluptuous curves so this gesture was met with some cheers and a few laughs.
After stepping back behind the podium, Missy continued by showing her first slide and saying, “My country needs the supplies and pharmaceuticals which your companies can provide for us. Last year, Russia imported various categories of these worth over two and a halfbilliondollars. I’m referencing dollars rather than euros since I’m using data from the World Bank and that’s what they typically reference in their reports.”
After showing her next slide, she said “The portion of that which was for instruments and appliances used in medical, surgical, dental or veterinary sciences was approximately three hundred and seventy-five million. The balance was in pharmaceutical products with the majority being medicines prepared in specific doses and put into packaging that ensures accurate dosing while reducing errors. We’re talking about pills in a bottle or blister pack, liquids, creams, inhalers and other forms. Thesepackaged medicamentsare what will be greatly needed to support our military in the months ahead.” She paused and showed a couple more of her slides.
Then she continued, saying, “Our company Boris-Apteka was able to provide our military with a large percentage of our military’s requirement, thanks to those contracts which we hadwith the companies which you gentlemen are representing. Yes, those were placed when Yury Borisovich was our leader. He was able to arrange for those sales to our military thanks to the close relationship which he established with our Defense Minister Sergey Fradkof.” Again, she had shown some slides.
Missy looked around and she could sense that she had captured everyone’s attention. While the meetings on Monday had not progressed to making any deals, the value of the various proposals had been for amounts much smaller than what Missy was now talking about. She was putting things in perspective and those gathered there were now very interested.
“One of the reasons why I am now on the board of directors at Boris-Apteka is because of the close relationship which I also have with Sergey Fradkof,” explained Missy. “Yury often brought me with him whenever he met with Sergey. Bottom line … our company is going to be awarded the lion’s share of orders forpackaged medicamentsfor Russia’s military. And, their need will be far greater than ever before because of the ongoing war with Ukraine.” Missy showed a few more of her slides.
Then she concluded by saying, “In order to satisfy those requirements, our company can sign the deals which Gavriil is ready to make with the companies which you gentlemen represent. Or …” Missy paused and looked around at everyone before she continued with, “Gavriil and I will travel to India and sign those deals with companies over there. Our Russian government is looking for Boris-Apteka to support them in this and we do not intend to let them down.”
Again, Missy watched as her audience processed what she was telling them. Yeah, they needed to sign up for those dealswhich Gavriil was hoping to make, or else. After thanking them for listening to her, Missy handed the meeting back to Gavriil. The atmosphere had changed and she had made that happen.
By the end of the day, Gavriil was thrilled with all the contracts which had been negotiated. Missy’s pointing out that their company had the favor of Russia’s Defense Minister and her mentioning how they were ready to go elsewhere, if necessary, had been very convincing. Her handling of all the follow-on questions which had arisen after her speech had also been equally convincing. The representatives there did make a lot of phone calls. Then they gladly signed, agreeing to all the terms and conditions.
While Julius de Weck had not participated in these meetings, he was well aware of how successful Missy and Gavriil had been. He invited them to a small celebration banquet that evening which he was hosting. In addition to there being a few of the key German company executives at this, he was happy to bring one additional special guest.
When Missy and Gavriil arrived at the restaurant and were escorted to the private room where this banquet was being held, Missy was thrilled to find that Julius’ special guest was Gabriel Profeta from the Department of Foreign Affairs in Switzerland. She would learn that Gabriel had indeed contacted Julius upon his return to Zurich. He had been greatly impressed by meeting her and Yury at that International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues in Moscow.
Needless to say, the banquet was a big success and Missy continued to impress all the others who were there. She had even entertained them with some stories of her early years back in Votkinsk and her later time when at her grad schoolin Izhevsk. These stories were completely fabricated, of course, and could never be checked. Her manner was so captivating and her persona so glamorous that when Gavriil finally brought her back to their hotel, he realized he was greatly in her debt. His future as the chief executive for his company was now looking very, very bright and he knew he had her to thank for that.
His only disappointment was in knowing there was no romantic future possible for him with Missy.

During their flight from Zurich to Moscow, Gavriil was effusive in his thanks to Missy. She assured him that, yes, she would gladly join him on Friday for an evening at the Propaganda with other associates and that Sergey Fradkof would surely come to that once he knew that she would be there.
Missy decided she would return to Moscow after her full moon celebration back home. Not only was it important for her to solidify things for Boris-Apteka with the Defense Minister, which she knew she could accomplish on Friday night, but she also wanted to schedule a meeting that afternoon with Nikolai. Yeah, she needed to deal with him somehow.
After Gavriil brought her back to her apartment, she said goodbye to him and went inside her building. There were a few paparazzi waiting for her. Somehow, they always managed to learn whenever she was coming or going on any trips. She suspected they had someone at the airport who alerted them whenever her name appeared on any manifest.
After posing for a few photos and letting them briefly interview her on where she had been and what she had accomplished, she finally managed to take the elevator up to her apartment. She was pleased to find her wards were intact and she went inside and put all her things away. Then, plugging her computer and phone into power supplies, she stepped into the middle of the living room and vanished in a shimmer of light.
Two hours later, Mike felt that pulse of energy which signaled that Missy was back. He smiled at seeing her suddenly standing there, grinning at him while she struck a provocative pose. Then he gestured at the clothes he had spread out on the bed for her and said, “Fun and frolic must come later, Missy! You have a pack who are anxiously waiting for you downstairs.”
Missy chuckled as she went over to grab her panties and said, “You know howhornyI always get after teleporting halfway across the world. Unfortunately, by the time I got back to my place in Moscow from Zurich, I wasn’t able to get here any sooner.” Although there was an eight-hour time difference, her arrival at the Missy Mansion was less than an hour before the big banquet which her entire pack was having before going on their run.
