“Fuck,” he says as he kisses my forehead. He reaches for his phone with the hand that was still around my neck. His long arm easily able to grab it and stay mostly in the same position. This leaves me trapped under him.

“Yeah,” he says as he answers the phone. His other hand is still at my hip and he is looking down at me. A scowl crosses his face as he listens to whatever the caller has to say. Soon the scowl is replaced with a calculated look. His hand starts to wander down over my leggings.

I go to close my legs but his hips are still in the way and he chuckles lightly. His hand makes its way to my legging covered pussy and he starts lightly rubbing. It is enough to drive me crazy.

“Where,” he says into the phone as he continues to torture me. He smirks at me and bites his tongue.Asshole. He is enjoying watching me squirm.

“Shit, thats an issue,” he says to whoever is on the other end. I’m having trouble concentrating because the orgasm that was shimmering in the distance is getting closer and I’m trying not to make a sound.

His fingers have foundthe spot, which is amazing considering he is doing this over my leggings. If I bite my lip any harder I may need stitches. I bring my hands up to my face to try to hide my mortification and stay quiet. All of a sudden, my body tightens, and Holt’s fingers speed up. My hips trying to get closer and get away at the same time to no avail.

The orgasm hits me and I manage to muffle a moan just as he is hanging up the phone. I can’t believe that just happened. Holt chuckles again and and leans down to kiss me quickly. Before I can even say anything he hops out of the bed.

“I’m hitting the shower, get ready to leave—we need to go somewhere,” he says quickly as he grabs his clothes before making his way out the door. I’m left laying on the bed a sweaty mess, still trembling, and staring at an empty doorway.

Chapter 30

Holt

I strip out of my boxers smirking as I step into Piper’s shower. I need a few minutes to take care of my dick and to clear my head. If Carter hadn’t called, I wouldn’t have stopped— and it is probably good he interrupted us in the long run. This was a good start, but Piper needs to be eased into this a bit more.

My hand fists my length and roughly tugs. Running up and down, I tug on my piercing quickly. Grabbing some of Piper’s soap I squirt it into my hand and I continue to move myself towards relief. I think of Piper’s soft body and the sounds she just made a few minutes ago. It takes me just a few minutes to reach release, and rinse my cum down her drain.

Once I have that taken care of, I quickly soap up and rinse off. All while thinking about how I am going to have to tell Piper about the latest damage inflicted. I’m fairly certain it won’t be welcome news, and part of me distracting her with an orgasm this morning was so that she didn’t hear Carter.

The other part was so that she gets used to me touching her—I’ll be doing a lot of that. I loved the way her cheeks flushed and the way she covered her face like she was hiding from me. Just thinking about it makes my cock twitch. I shut down that line of thinking, knowing I don’t have time to jerk myself off again. I also want to get out of the bathroom so that Piper can use it.

I open the door and see that she is in the kitchen staring out the window over the sink and drinking some coffee. She grabs a pile of clothes and heads towards the bathroom. I walk to meet her mid-way.

“Showering, again,” I question. I lift my eyebrow and look down at her. Her cheeks are still slightly flushed, but the question makes them darken. I know first hand how wet she is between her legs, so I’m sure she wants to take a minute.

“Just freshening up,” she responds quickly. I grab her wrist to stop her from leaving and lean down, looking in her eyes. Her eyes widen and before she can ask me anything I snag her lips with mine quickly. I let her go after a minute. She looks up at me in shock, as if she can’t believe that I keep doing it.

“This is just the beginning,” I say to her and then turn her towards the bathroom and pat her ass. She jumps forward and takes a few steps. I chuckle and watch her scurry to the bathroom, and hear the shower turn on.

I move to the coffee maker to pour a cup, and also start looking at what I can put together for us to eat on the way. I settle for putting together a couple of egg sandwiches. It won’t take me long to scramble the eggs and toast up the English muffins.

I know I am going to have to break the news to her soon about the small fire that was set at her cafe. Carter said that the Sheriff had called him and shared that the damage wasn’t too bad, since the fire station is right across the street. The damage isn’t what concerns me, its the continued harassment and how these moments keep the tension around her eyes.

I take a another gulp of coffee—shit— she has the good stuff, and assemble the sandwiches. I throw some leftover bacon from the other morning on top of each one and start wrapping the sandwiches up.

I’m pouring some more coffee into two to-go mugs I found in the cabinet when I hear the bathroom door open. Piper steps out and looks a bit more composed and refreshed. Her wet hair is hanging down, and she is in another oversized sweater with leggings.

“Are you cooking,” she asks me and makes her way over to the stove. I nod at her. She lookssuspiciousfor a minute. I almost ask her what she is thinking but she speaks again.

“You didn’t have to do that,” she says quietly.Yes, I did.She doesn’t need to know that yet, but she will see eventually. I don’t respond. Instead, I tell her to sit down. She must hear the serious tone in my voice because she does as I direct.

“That was Carter on the phone before,” I begin. Her cheeks go pink and I cant contain the smirk that crosses my face. She ducks her face. My fingers lift her chin up to look at me.

“The Sheriff called him. There was a small fire,” I begin. Her eyes widen. Her mouth opens and shuts for a second. I continue.

“There wasn’t a lot of damage, the fire department put it out pretty quickly. Looks like a part of the porch will need to be replaced.”

Piper hasn’t said anything. Her head is down again and I hear a sniffle. Then I hear another one and what sounds like a soft sob. She stands up to escape, but I won’t let her. I wrap my arms around her and hold her tight.

“It will be okay, we can fix it,” I say to her. I know that it isn’t all about the damage. This constant fear of something happening all the time, is exhausting.
