“Let’s rest that smart-ass mouth while you stroke me. I want to come all over your face.”
I feel her smile. “What did this round forgive me for?”
“Not killing Matteo.”
Bay chuckles lightly, but it’s a good thing she didn’t, because fuck knows who’d rat her out if she had.
And anyone who says otherwise about her attempting to kill him is hearsay.
Sheriff Muncy couldn’t prove that unless someone took a video of it, which I doubt since we were in South Shore.
“I need to get back downstairs,” she says. “Levi will be?—”
“Did youreallyjust fuckin’ say his name after my cock was in your mouth?”
“Yes,” Ozzy answers for her, causing Bay to jolt and spin around, bumping my body with her ass as she does.
It’s a perfect position, honestly.
“How long have you been here?” she inquires, almost sounding horrified as she stands off with Oz.
He lifts his shoulders nonchalantly, and Bay closes the distance between them. “Is it your mission in life to scare the shit out of me every two minutes? Do youknowhow many times you’ve almost given me a heart attack?”
“No,” he deadpans, tucking his chin to look down at her.
“I think you just might.”
“You against him watching, Little T?” I chime in, tucking myself into my jeans because she’s right, Bay is going to be missed if she’s up here for too long.
“That stealth shit is going to get me to bust your ass one day,” she threatens Oz. “I’m surprised I haven’t punched you in the face yet.”
“You headbutted me.”
She snorts, and my eyebrows clench. “When?”
She gives him a small shove, ignoring me and barely getting his body to move when she makes her way for the door.
But I haven’t told her everything yet.
“You didn’t ask me who I took out tonight,” I vouch, receiving her sole attention once more.
She lifts an eyebrow. “Did I need to?”
“Thought you might want to know.” She stares at me expectedly. “In case Muncy comes looking for you, I took those men out Vivian hired.”
Her face twists. “I thought Levi did that.”
“Your boy wasn’t thorough enough.”
“And how would you know?”
“Because one waltzed into my coffee shop talking about some crazy blonde who paid him a thousand dollars to fuck some guy in a chair. I took a shot in the dark…literally.”
Bay steals a glance at Ozzy, but he continues to stare at me. “Anything else?”
“Yeah.” She glances over at me when I don’t add on to that. “You’re not done with me tonight.”
Bay doesn’t argue with me but looks back to Ozzy again, clearly concerned with how he may be handling the news.
