For me.

I pull her closer, kissing her between her brows, on her nose, then taking her mouth with mine. Our kiss is sweet, slow, and languid as I hold her so tightly to me, we might as well merge into one. I hook her leg over my hip again before pressing my head to hers.

“Sorry.”

She kisses my nose, then rubs hers against the spot she kissed. “We can do it again.”

“And again.”

She snorts. “I have to walk tomorrow.”

“Who says?” I ask, and she smiles at me, making my heart skip a beat.

She kisses my nose again, then slides her fingers up my chest before she whispers, “Are you okay?”

I chuckle, kissing her top lip. “More than okay.” I kiss her bottom lip, then both sides of her mouth. “Is it always like that?”

Her eyes lock with mine, and I fall deeper for her. “No,” she admits softly. “That was intense and amazing.”

“Exactly,” I whisper, stroking her jaw with my thumb.

“Was it everything you imagined? Or do only girls imagine their first time?”

I shake my head. “No, I have always wondered what it’d be like when I finally found the person I wanted to lose it to.”

“And?”

I run my nose over hers, our eyes never straying from each other. “Totally worth the wait.”

“Really?” she asks softly. “You don’t regret it?”

I hold her gaze, fully offended she said that. “The only thing I regret when it comes to you is that when I met you the first time, I was drunk and stupid. That I didn’t see what was sitting beside me.”

Her eyes turn glossy once more. “You’re just all hopped up on a sex high.”

“Maybe, but I see it now.”

“What?”

“My future.”

The Rowe Report: Episode 1053: D’Artagnan’s Hat Trick.

Tennessee Miklas: It is kind of crazy how it all happened. We aren’t shy about how we got together. We met at a bar and had a one-night stand. It was only supposed to be one night.

D’Artagnan Miklas: But fate had other plans.

Tennessee Miklas: We met in Nashville, where neither of us lived. So, color me surprised when I ended up in South Carolina where he was, like four months later, and I startedworking with the IceCats, who he played for. We knew it wasn’t random chance when we ended up in the same room.

D’Artagnan Miklas: Nope, I knew I had another chance to make her my wife—and the mother of my children.

Tennessee Miklas: And he did just that. He is a fantastic player, so I can’t say I’m the reason he is so great, but I can say I’m the reason he is supported, loved, and cared for.

D’Artagnan Miklas: And the happiest.

Tennessee Miklas: Are you? Seems like you wish this one were another boy.

Laughter.
