Mikey turned beet-red, mortified.

“Relax, babe. It’s no big deal,” George said, tossing the underwear to the floor. “These things happen.”

“I get excited, and I come real easy,” he said, ashamed. “That’s why I stopped you earlier. And then you were in my mouth and—God, you taste and smell so good, George. I thought my cock was going to rip my pants open. Next thing I know... I couldn’t hold back.”

“So, you came before me?”

He nodded.

“And you kept going?”

“I didn’t want to disappoint you.”

“You’re not going to disappoint me, Mikey. We’ll talk about it later. Take your shirt off. I’m going to get a towel.”

Mikey did as told. George went into the small bathroom off his office and turned the water on, removing a hand towel from the bar on the wall. When the water was hot, he held the towel partially under it before returning.

Mikey was waiting for him, now completely naked except for his socks. George knelt and began cleaning him with the warm, damp cloth.

“That feels good. Thank you, George. I’m sorry.”

George stood. He kissed him, still holding and massaging his junk with the warm wet cloth. “Unnecessary,” he whispered.

He tossed the wet cloth into the linen hamper. From the rack adjacent, he removed a fresh tablecloth.

“I don’t have any blankets here. This is a little starchy, but it’ll have to do.” He gestured to the couch.

Mikey laid back on it and George sandwiched between his legs, pulling the tablecloth over them like a blanket.

“That’s better... but we’re going to my house next time. I’m freezing.”

Mikey squeezed him. “Thank you, George.”

“For what?”

“For being so kind.”

“You need to stop worrying about putting me off. It takes a lot more than a wet dream to do that.”

“It’s embarrassing.”

“No, it’s not. Actually, I think it’s kind of hot knowing that I can make you come without even touching you.”

“I’ve been wanting to hold you like this for a while. But you were—” He struggled for a word. “—distantwith me after the phone thing.”

“Yeah, I know. I was,” he said, relaxing deeper into the warm recess of Mikey’s spoon. “You’re the only person I’ve been intimate with since David died. It’s hard to explain. I know it’s not cheating, but it still feels like it—a little. I mean, it’s not like we ever broke up. He was just... gone.”

Mikey was tracing his fingers on George’s chest. “I can’t imagine.”

“So, there’s...residual guilt?... or whatever you’d call that. Also, it didn’t help you announcing it to Zac and May that Monday morning. Boundaries, Michael. Boundaries.”

He chuckled. “Yeah, I don’t have a lot of those.”

“The funny thing is, you do—but only when we’re alone. Why is that? Why do you tiptoe around me?”

Mikey squeezed George again, exhaling warm breath in his hair. “Because I like you, George... and I don’t want to screw it up.”

“You’re not gonna screw it up. Why would you think that?”
