She was a goddess, and I planned to worship at her feet for the rest of my days. I was so done for. She had me in a way no one else had or ever would.

After I rolled on the condom and climbed on top of her, I hovered for a moment, resting my forearms on either side of her.

“What is it?” Julie asked, her voice strangled with the same need coursing through me.

“I just like looking at you.” I pressed my lips against hers, slow and sensual, as I eased inside her. She dragged her hands up and down my back as I inched in and out, making sure she was used to me before I pounded into her like I wanted.

“Please do something for me,” she croaked out in a hoarse whisper, her eyes fluttering every time I went deeper.

“I’d do anything for you.” I draped my hand over her cheek.

“Go harder. Don’t treat me like I’m made of glass.” She clutched the back of my neck. “I’m all yours, so just take me.”

I caught her mouth in a sloppy kiss as I did exactly what she asked, the mattress creaking under us as I hooked her leg over my hip, driving into her as deep and as hard as I could.

Her leg shook as she pulsed around my cock, and I lost it. I spilled into her, giving her all I had as my release ripped through me.

I dropped my head into the crook of her shoulder, my body spent and sated in a way I’d never found or thought possible with anyone.

“How was that?” I teased when I lifted my head.

She laughed as I swept kisses over her eyelids, down her cheeks, and along her jaw until I got to her mouth.

“That, husband,” she said, clasping her legs around my waist, “was perfect.”

JULIE

Ifluttered my eyes open, squinting to make out the time on the alarm clock on my nightstand. Panic shot through me as I sat up and tried to swing my legs over the side of the bed until I remembered it was Saturday.

When was the last time I’d slept so well that I’d forgotten what day it was? Even when I was exhausted, my sleep was restless and I never slept straight through, or at least not enough to cause my brain to reset once I woke up.

“Where’s the fire?” a grumbly voice said from behind me as I was yanked back into bed by a hard arm against an even harder body.

Ah, right. That was why I’d slept like the dead. Soul-deep confessions and multiple orgasms took a lot out of a person.

“I forgot what day of the week it was. Something knocked me out pretty hard.” I sighed into the pillow as he lifted my hair off my neck and dragged kisses along my nape.

“Oh yeah?”

I squirmed against his mouth as he ran his lips down my back, moaning at the silk of his tongue and scratch of his stubble as he moved lower.

“I love these three little freckles.” He traced the cluster of dots on my hip bone with the tip of his finger.

“Freckles do it for you…” I trailed off when he followed the path of his fingers with his tongue.

“When they’re on you.” He painted kisses down the back of my thigh. “What else can I find?” I giggled when he nipped at the sensitive skin on the back of my knee.

“I think you found everything last night.” I rolled onto my back as Landon peered down at me, his dark eyes full of heat as he raked them over my still-naked body.

“I’ll keep exploring to make sure. Wouldn’t want to miss anything.” My legs fell open as he climbed on top of me. “Good morning, gorgeous.”

“Back at you, doll,” I said, gliding my nails up and down his back.

“Mmm…this is a nice way to wake up,” he said, smoothing my hair off my forehead. “I could get used to this.”

“Me too.” I lolled my head to the side as he nuzzled my neck. “Can we just stay like this the whole day?”
