The look on her face almost made the whole morning worth it. Dylan, though, was a good champion for her.

“Well, I’m down for some quality pool time. I’m sure you still have some of mine and Cassidy’s suits. We can all get to know Isabella.”

I was going to protest, but Alison clapped her hands together.

“Perfect! Come, we better hurry and hit the showers so we can make the reservation. We’ll see you back at the house, Liam.”

With that, the four of them left, and I stood next to Isabella, annoyed that the one day I was able to spend with her today was being derailed. She slipped her hand in mine and smiled.

“Well, this will be fun.”

She was laughing as we packed up our things and started toward the car. At least she was still being a good sport.

“Thirty minutes in the pool with them and I can just say I need to get you home.”

Isabella smiled.

“It will be okay, Liam. I’m going to look way hotter in a bathing suit than her. You can’t complete with naturally tan-looking skin and a toned but curvy body rocking a bikini. She won’t last fifteen minutes.”

That, right there, was why I loved Isabella.

“Although I don’t have a bathing suit.”

“Oh, no worries. I stocked a wide variety of them in your size the day after the coffee shop.”

Her eyes looked at me, surprised.

“You did?”

“Mmhmm. I’m a seventeen-year-old guy, Isabella. I was getting you into a bikini one way or another.”

Isabella

He wasn’t lying. There were like ten suits in here, all my size. I sorted through them to figure out which would make the biggest impact. I settled on a bright blue suit that was cut just right to show off my assets. It also had this lace placed over it that almost made it lingerie-like. I hurried into it. Liam was determined to be in the hot tub when they arrived.

“What color did you go with?” Liam shouted over the wall. Although there was a separate dressing room for guys and gals, there was no roof on either, so you could still talk.

“Blue.”

“Okay. I’m going to go all out and match you.”

I laughed.

“You are ridiculous.”

He ignored me and I hurried to the mirror to fix my hair. It had been in a ponytail for tennis, but I pulled out the elastic hair band and shook it out. There. No way Cassidy could rock a bathing suit and look this good.

I stepped outside and dipped my toe in the hot tub to make sure I’d be able to handle the heat. I never really understood sitting in burning hot water, but Liam assured me it felt like heaven.

“Good God, Isabella. Are you trying to kill me?”

I turned to face him and wondered the same thing. Liam without a shirt on was a sight to behold. Teasing him, I pretended to showcase myself.

“Hey, this could be all yours if you could solve the mystery of the missing spark.”

Glaring at me, he walked up next to me and growled.

“Remember you said that, Bianco. I’m holding you to it.”
