Once Aiden’s knot deflated, he slowly pulled out of his omega, and Quinn stood and turned around to face him.

“I love you,” Quinn whispered. He moved in and brushed a kiss along Aiden’s lips, not even giving Aiden a chance to state the same.

Once they were dressed, they made their way out to the main area, Quinn in the lead, only to find Nat still sitting at her desk, typing away on her computer with a pair of headphones on.

“Oh my gods,” Quinn bit his lips, feeling the heat flame up from his collarbone. “What was I thinking?”

Aiden chuckled low. “Babe, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. I bet she didn’t hear a thing.”

And with that, the alpha placed a kiss on Quinn’s cheek before walking past the reception desk

“Have a good night, Nat,” Aiden said with a smile toward the woman.

She looked up to Aiden. “Good night, Mr. Cross.”

Nat twisted in her chair to look behind her, and her eyes landed on Quinn. All he could do was give a sheepish smile and wave. As he tried to make his way around the desk, she gave him a knowing smirk and quirked an eyebrow.

“You have a good night, Quinn. Try not to have too much more fun.”

“Thank you, Nat. I’ll see you tomorrow,” Quinn mumbled, mortified at having been caught.

Once they were outside, Aiden walked next to him, wrapped an arm around Quinn’s waist, and pulled him in close to his side.

Quinn’s embarrassment fled quickly once he was in his alpha’s arms. They were finding their way back to one another and never going to part again.

Aiden

Six Months Later

“You’re doing so amazing!” Aiden whispered as he held onto Quinn’s hand.

Quinn did some of the breathing exercises they’d practiced as another contraction hit him.

“I love you,” Aiden said, and kissed the top of his head, inhaling the scent of his hair. “Just breathe, baby.”

Quinn looked over at him and nodded. The doctor stood over him with a nurse on the other side. “We’re going to numb you now, and before you know it, this baby will be out.”

Quinn smiled, and Aiden moved in, pressing their lips together in a kiss, but then Quinn cried out and squeezed Aiden’s hand painfully. Aiden held Quinn as the nurse gave him an injection, and Aiden watched him, whispering how much he loved him.

“Okay. Hold tight, Quinn. The fun is just about to begin,” the doctor said.

Quinn squeezed Aiden’s hand even tighter. Aiden kept his eyes focused on Quinn’s as the doctor worked on the Cesarean section. He refused to look over the sheet blocking what they were doing to his husband. As the grip Quinn had on his hand relaxed, Aiden realized the numbing medicine was taking effect.

“My eyes are focused on you, babe, and only you,” Aiden said. “Right now, it’s just you and me. Nothing else in the world matters.”

Quinn smiled. “I love you!”

Those three words meant everything to Aiden. Since overcoming the mess the alpha had made at the start of their relationship and getting back together, their love had only blossomed into something even stronger.

Plus, Aiden loved every moment he spent getting to know the triplets as well. Even though they’d only had a small wedding, the children enjoyed being involved in the ceremony. Haley made the cutest flower girl. They’d had all his brothers present, along with Nat, Carlos, Marvin, and the other cleaners who he had turned away. Yes… Aiden had to apologize and explain all that had happened, but over time, he was able to establish friendships with the people who worked for Quinn. Afterward, the triplets were ecstatic because they’d gotten to pick new rooms when they all moved to Aiden’s home, and they had fun redecorating them.

“You’re doing so well,” Aiden cooed, coming back to the present moment. He looked down lovingly at Quinn, and his omega’s eyes were half-closed. He looked exhausted from the twelve hours of labor he’d been through prior to the C-section.

“Just a few more minutes,” the doctor said.

“Just a few more minutes,” Aiden reiterated. “We’re going to meet our son or daughter in a few more minutes.”
