Nickolas

Nickolas wasn’t sure how he felt about the omega running out of his room without even trying to cling to him or smile when he said he would call. Usually, he had a pretty good read on the people he slept with, but Jaimie had looked indifferent on whether Nickolas reached out and his ego was not happy about that. Or was it his heart?Nah… it couldn’t be. Could it?His heart couldn’t care for the omega so quickly.

He was at a loss. Omegas, hell… Alphas and betas always responded to him eagerly. But this omega hadn’t even wanted to meet his eye and had run out of his room like he was being chased. He could still remember how Jaimie’s mouth had submitted beneath his, and how the omega’s body had instinctively leaned into his.

Remembering the kiss gave his confidence a boost. Maybe the omega had simply been overwhelmed. Hehadbeen a virgin, after all, which Nickolas marveled at. A real-life virgin omega. Usually, he didn’t care about things like that, but he had to admit his alpha instincts had kicked in at the thought. It was a totally electrifying feeling, knowing he was the first person to enjoy the omega’s wonderfully responsive delights, and the fact he had chosen Nickolas to lose his virginity to, well that made him want to beat his chest from the highest rooftop. It also made him want to hide the omega away, so no one else could enjoy that innocent, yet free sexuality he had experienced.

The thought of another alpha touchinghisomega made him see red. He had found him first, so he was all his, his mind supplied. Nickolas could see him as a permanent fixture in his bed. It wasn’t like his marriage had any fidelity vows thrown in, so why did that thought make him chafe, and why now after knowing what his marriage would be like, did he feel sad?
