CHAPTER 15
“What the hell? Taco, knock it off before you shatter the glass. Then again from the look of this room it might go with the new decor.”
Hearing Jude’s voice, Cobra grabbed a sheet and used it to cover Gio and grabbed the pillow to cover himself, “What are you doing in here, Jude? Gods, you could have been killed.”
“Hey, I waited until all the sounds stopped, geez, give a guy a break. I’m here to see how Gio is doing.”
“And I came to see if your joining helped Taco.” Bren said, then smiled, wiggling his brows, “And I can see it did wonders for your dragon. Welcome back to the living, Taco.” Looking around and snickering, he then said, “But damn, you really fucked up this room.”
Taco snorted, “I didn’t do all this. The destruction you see here is all my sentience’s doing, but I have to say it was—”
Jude immediately jumped in smirking, “Sparkling? Dynamite? Zippy?”
“Jude hush.” Bren chastised.
With a huff, Jude grumbled, “I swear I’m gonna have a talk with Pit. That man can’t possibly be putting out like he should with you being so grumpy and snippy all the time.”
“And I might have a talk with Casper, because he is obviously putting out too much considering how bouncy and annoying you are.” Bren said as he rolled his eyes.
Gio didn’t know what to say as he listened to the two men arguing. He was standing in his room, naked and only a sheet to cover him, his mate only had a pillow to cover his own nakedness and these two were acting as if the fact that they walked in just after Gio had his first sexual experience was no big deal. Clearing his throat to get their attention, Gio asked, “Can you guys maybe go outside or something? I really would like it if my mate and I were dressed when others are in the room.”
“Oh, look at him being so shy and shit. Isn’t he just adorable? Gio, sweetie, I hate to tell you this but I don’t think there’s a member in this house that hasn’t seen your dangly bits.” Jude said with a wink.
“Oh god.” Gio softly groaned.
“Jude! Bren! Go! My sentience is correct. We need to clean up and—”
Cobra was cut off when a bright bolt of lightning shot from the sky hitting somewhere close to the D.O.A. home.
“What the fuck was that?” Jude screamed.
Gio’s eyes widened, “He’s here! Shit! He’s here!”
“Who’s here? Your freaky brother?” Jude shouted.
Gio rasped, “Either him... or my father.”
Cobra pulled on his jeans, running to the door, shouting, “Bren! Go get the others. Jude, you stay here with Gio. Taco, keep our sentience safe”
“Like hell!” Jude snapped, shouting Smoky and Casper’s names as he rushed out of the room.
Bren raced from the room, yelling for Azul and Pit.
Looking towards Taco, Gio rasped, “Let me get dressed, then you and I are heading out. If I’m right and that’s Kace, then they are going to need all the help they can get.”
“I don’t like this, Gio. Cobra told me to—”
“Now you listen to me and listen good. I have bonded with the both of you. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to be the little lady staying home, wringing my hands and hoping the big bad hubby of mine comes home safe. I will go out there. I will help them fight my brother. I have said this before and I will say it again, I will do it with you or without you. Now get me my fucking pants and let’s go, damn it!” Gio snapped, his voice getting louder as he spoke.
Taco’s eyes were wide as he rushed to one of the dressers. Pulling out a pair of jeans, he muttered, “Damn. That shit was hot as hell and if Cobra had been here to witness your ‘tude, I bet he would have been on you like water off a duck’s ass. Hell, I’m only your maharishi and I’m turned on.”
“Well I don’t do bestiality, so you’re going to have to wait until Cobra and I get back from our honeymoon or whatever it is we have after a bonding. Now let’s go.” Gio said, after he was fully dressed.
Rushing out of the house, Gio watched as the air was filled with several dragons all heading towards the park. “Taco, lift me up and fly me to the park. I know I could ride my lightning, but I don’t want to waste energy I might need.”
Taco made his dragon its normal ginormous size, and carefully picked Gio up, placing him on his back. Once Gio knew he was situated, he shouted out, “I’m good. Let’s go!”
Gio held on tight as Taco took to the sky. It didn’t take long before they were passing the other dragons, and even passed up the D.O.A. agents racing on their bikes towards the park area.
