Curious so-and-so,
Well, well, well, did you all catch the drama at theNo Love in Pink Citypremiere?
Of course, you did, because the real stars of the evening were HRH Vedveer and his fiancée, Coffee Queen, Aaditha Prathap.
Now, Vedveer was there, but let’s be real, dearies, Aadithaownedthat red carpet. She wasn’t just making an entrance; she was staging a full-on performance.
Waves, kisses, smiles, she had it all down to an art. And Jaipur lapped it up.
Meanwhile, the Prince, dashing in a black tuxedo, appeared to be in a bit of a rush. We don’t know. Maybe he had a meeting with the Royal Bureau of Speed Walking.
But back to Aaditha, who completelystolethe show in that silver gown. It was backless and had a neckline daring enough to cause a traffic jam. We couldn’t stop staring at her, and it wasn’t just because her gown was the physical embodiment of ‘wow’.
No, it was also the little detail of herringlesshand, which had the crowd buzzing. She was waving her digits around so much, we have to ask if she was making a point!
Now, we know some of you might argue, maybe the emerald ring didn’t match the gown. Or that it didn’t fit with theother piece of jewellery she wore, the chandelier earrings (last seen on HRH Navya Mrinalini’s lobes). And you might have a point.
According to Palace talk, she was not wearing the ring at herdress fittingat Ranibagh earlier either.
Let’s just say, we’re raising an eyebrow.
The question is, what’s going on?Trouble in paradise? Is Kairi Gaur the reason?
Or is it just Princess-to-be Aaditha thinking, who needs a ring when you’ve already got a Prince?
We’ll keep our eyes on this one, because something tells us there’s more to the story than just missing jewels.
24.

Where the Heart Is!
A COFFEE Before Books & Bras creative flutters in the early-evening easterly at the entrance of the heritage hotel that is home to Bengaluru’s Literature Festival. Aaditha’s brand is the sponsor of the event.
It hadn’t occurred to me until this moment, as we glide past the gates of the colourfully decorated venue, why Robert Kaminski wants a Bengaluru launch for his last season’s release –The Rathores of Ranibagh. It is because of Aaditha, her association with me and the festival. Cognitive jam.
When Father asked Navya and me if we could make ourselves available for Bob’s Bengaluru launch, I agreed without a thought because it is Bengaluru. This is where I’ve been living this past month, in my head at least. Obsessing over Aaditha.
What is she doing?
Where does shenowgo to let her hair down?
How can I reach her?
I have been messaging her daily these last couple of weeks, the length of the messages shortening with every passing day until it is reduced toHey Aaditha.
My eyes are going through the descriptor for our session:
A Regal Rendezvous: A day in the life of the Ranibagh Royals – Vedveer Rathore Singh and Navya Mrinalini will be in conversation with author Robert Kaminski, a former diplomat with a passion for words and photography.
The Rathores of Ranibaghis a richly illustrated hardbound thattraces the journey of the Rathores – custodians of tradition, fashion icons and celebrities by inheritance in a modern republic. The book has rare archival photographs, hand-painted family trees and never-before-seen glimpses of palace life.
My smile is nervous; it has nothing to do with what I have just read or the session ahead. My thoughts are flirting with the image of Aaditha, dressed in a shade of white, floating around these grounds, coffee cup in hand.
‘Did Aaditha reply?’ Navya asks as the wheels come to a halt at the entrance of the hotel.
I had sent Aaditha an invite to our session the moment I confirmed.
