I needed him as many times as he could give me.
Turns out that was fifteen times.
On the bed, in the shower, on the floor, buried into the couch, and against the wall.
Tomorrow we’d be exhausted, sore, and riddled with joint pain. I wasn’t a horny teenager that could go for days on end anymore.
But for one night, we were machines, and we fucked like we’d never break down.
Chapter Thirty-Six
Because you want a husband and a big dick?
“Ihate you,” I mumbled to Imogene as Remy, and I sat in her room making gifts for the holidays. My body ached, and while I could whip up something to make my muscles feel better, I didn’t. Maybe I was fucked up, but I wanted the ache, the soreness from my vagina being pounded, and the popping knees from reverse cowgirling.
It had been a week since that night, and the body pains reminded me that it wasn’t a wild sex dream. We really fucked that much.
I’d already talked with Imogene about how her choice took away Rylan’s consent in the matter of sex. Yes, we were likely going to bang it out anyways, but it was still our choice to make. By giving him those cookies, she made the choice for us.
She apologized and now we just stuck our tongue out at each other here and there.
“I really do hate you,” I said again.
Imogene replied, “Of course you do, darling.”
She knew I didn’t actually hate her, but every time my body popped when I stood up to grab something, my eyes narrowed in her direction. She drugged Rylan in my best interest.
Of course, the billionaire and I became inseparable since. I mostly spent the nights in his room, wrapped in his arms. He even built a snake habitat near Russel’s tree for Edith to stay in.
Oh, what sort of snake habitat you ask?
A doll house. He created a four-roomed doll house in his amulet craft club a few days ago. Besides the bedroom and a hiding space, she had her very own bathroom with a mini jacuzzi tub. Because the noodle loved a good soak for her scales. But her favorite part of the house had to be the runway near the closet for her clothes. Because every fashionista needs a runway.
Rylan’s words, not mine.
“Has Rylan proposed yet?”
Remy snapped me out of my thoughts as she flipped through a book and begun wrapping. A scoff rumbled out of me with a side of eye rolling.
Imogene’s orange fox familiar ran across the paper, leaving little foot indentions behind. Mr. Foxy, as Imogene called him, was a sneaky little sucker. Again, funny how similar we are to our familiars in personality.
“Naughty Mr. Foxy.” Imogene pulled her fox in for a kiss and the creature whined. Apparently, foxes can whine like dogs for attention.
I grabbed my wand and touched the paper with the tip. A light shined seconds later, and the paper was good as new.
Imogene waited for me to answer the proposal question while Remy added a final piece of tape to her package. She held it out proudly, and I bit back a smile. The woman was a skilled astronaut, but she couldn’t wrap a present for shit.
“Seriously?” I said with a huff. “We just started officially dating a week ago.”
They didn’t know that I almost told him I loved him, or that he wanted me to wait until I was free of the sex potion. The courage I felt then waned and while the feelings were real, I hadn’t been able to say the words.
We were in a magic school bubble. What if real life caught up to us outside these walls? A billionaire marries…. me? A single mom with nothing big going for her?
Little bells went off in my head that my thoughts were dumb. I sighed and agreed with them. I was amazing and learning more about myself each day.
I had friends that cared for me. They cared so much that they agreed to exchange gifts that were handmade or under twenty dollars despite them being rich. I wasn’t and I did what I could. They saw that and agreed to make it a group thing.
We were giving gifts sooner than Christmas because Piper was visiting early since she signed up for an internship for her holiday break. Another thing I was grateful everyone decided to participate in.
