"Emily, let's go down here, and you can grab the bathroom." She follows me down the corridor and into an executive office. Not all of these types of offices are on the top floor; some people don't like heights, so we like to put them everywhere in the building.
"Thank you so much, Alexander. I appreciate the help. I'm just so flustered and pissed off that I overslept."
I listen to her ramblings, and normally that would irritate me, but she's so cute when she talks to herself. "In here," I open the door and let her in. "There's a bathroom here." I open the door for her. "I'll just be waiting over here at the desk." I take a seat and look around the office. I could never work here; there's no view. The only glass is out onto the corridor. Boring.
I hear the door close, and I can't help but think about whether she is getting naked and going to take a shower or is she just going to freshen up. The thought of her naked has feelings rushing through me that are alien to me. I feel like I want to seeher naked. But more than that, I want to spend the night with her. All night. I don't want to kick her out after I’ve fucked her. It would be unusual for me to wake up with a woman in my bed, but I can just imagine her wrapped around me.
Once again, I have to shake my head to get those thoughts out of my head. Maybe I'll just call Selene to come over to mine. She knows the score, and she's not clingy.
The door opens, and Emily walks out. "That's so much better, thanks, Alexander."
The way my name rolls off her tongue makes me wonder how it will sound when she screams it later. My cock is twitching to get out. I smile. "No problem. Let's get you back to the exhibition. I need to greet the guests and see if I can sell this building to one of them." I put my hand on the small of her back and guide her back to the exhibition room.
"Oh, are you the salesman for this building?" She looks at me with innocence in her eyes. She really doesn't know who I am. How refreshing.
I lean closer to her ear. "I'm the owner of this building, Emily. I've organized this whole event tonight. I'm the reason you are here." I feel her shiver when my breath touches the curve of her neck.
She turns around, so close to me I can feel her breath on me. "Oh my god, I didn't realize that. I'm sorry if I was disrespectful." She turns and continues talking to herself as she moves in the direction of her paintings.
I grab her arm and pull her back to me. "You haven't been disrespectful. Do you know how refreshing it is to know that you didn't know who I was?" I lean in again. "But if you think you'vebeen disrespectful to me then I'm quite happy to punish you later." I see a glint in her eyes, and she smiles.
"Like Christian Gray did to Anastasia after the graduation?" She blushes and her eyes are wide open.
Now, I've not watched the movies. Well, that's a lie. I did once to see what the hype was. And the thought of her thinking that I am like Christian Gray, both pleases me and displeases me. I watch her as she swallows hard. "Just like that, Emily."
She gasps and it turns me on even more. "I... I... I need to go, Alexander." She turns and walks away. I watch her leave wondering just what the fuck is happening.
CHAPTER 4
Emily
What the fuck just happened? If I didn't have this exhibition and the opportunity to sell some paintings, I would be out that door as fast as I could and be drowning Porn Star Martinis with my bestie, Jules. I'm warm all of a sudden. If that wasn't a blatant invitation to Fuck Town then I don't know what it was.
Before long, a gentleman comes over. "Good evening, miss," he extends his hand.
"Good evening, sir." He stands, looking at my paintings, and I'm frozen. I don't know what to say, so I do the next best thing. I waffle.
"I don't know what I'm supposed to do now. Do I tell you about the painting? Stand here and watch you looking at it? Help me out, please, this is my first time."
He turns to me and laughs. "Ah, a virgin exhibitor. Fantastic." He points to one of my paintings. "Tell me about the inspiration behind this one?"
"This came to me one day when I was sitting on a bench in the park. I thought the colors of the trees were spectacular and how cool it would be to be able to zoom in the focus on one leaf falling from that tree."
"It's beautiful, and it reminds me that I need to slow down and watch beautiful things that are around me. I would love to buy it. What's your name? I need to keep an eye out for your work."
"Oh my god, thank you so much." I throw myself at him and hug him, and he laughs.
"I've not had a reaction like that to something I've said for a long time." He chuckles.
"I'm Emily, and you are my first client." I stand back, and I can feel the flush wash over me. I look around the room, and I can see everyone watching us. I lean in closer. "Why are they looking at us? Am I not supposed to do that?"
He laughs. "They're all stuck-up assholes, I wouldn't worry about it."
I join him in his laughter. "Sorry, sir..."
"It's Henry Connors."
"Henry, what do I do with it now? Do I just put your name on it? Send an invoice and then get it delivered? Put it away so no one else can see it? Please help me out."
