“Friends? You mean you bullied the ever-loving hell out of her, don’t ya?” Keeva snaps, losing her mind. I don’t blame her one bit, and honestly, I’m proud of her for sticking up for Delaney.

Bran draws his brows together and instantly defends this stranger. “Come on now, everyone gets picked on in school. What Orla did was no different.”

“You can’t be serious,” Delaney mutters, disappointed by Bran’s actions. From the expressions on the rest of our siblings’ faces, she isn’t the only one who’s bothered by Bran’s actions.

Delaney takes a sip of her wine and picks at her food. It’s obvious to me she’s bothered by this woman being here, and I’ll always be one to defend those in our family. “Bran, may I have a word with you?”

Bran scoffs and shakes his head. “Whatever you need to say to me, you can say it right here.”

“All right then. I think you’re acting stupidly by bringing her to our home. She spread vicious rumors about Delaney when they were in school, and Orla was the reason Delaney didn’t want to go to school. Don’t you remember how she begged to be taught from home?” I bring up everything I can in the most adult manner I can think of. Then again, I don’t give a fuck if this woman becomes upset. She fucked with my family, so I’ll never like her.

Bran rolls his eyes like nothing I’m saying matters in the slightest to him. “Orla told me before we started hanging out that she fibbed about Delaney to a few people. I don’t see the big deal. All she did was tell people she was dating that Callum bloke.”

“Wow. She lied to you, and even you bought it, huh?” Delaney cocks a brow and crosses her arms, displeased with Bran. She isn’t the only one.

“Guess you’re still up to your conniving ways, Orla,” Keeva adds, staring right at the woman in question.

“What did you lie to me about?” Bran’s angered eyes focus on the woman sitting beside him.

Orla sucks in a sharp breath and looks around the table. We all know the truth, all except Bran.

“I’ll fill you in, brother, though I shouldn’t have to,” Delaney spits out at Bran and clears her throat. “Orla here went around the entire school saying I slept with Callum, Broderick, and Raul. She didn’t stop there, though. She told everyone I had herpes, and it’s why my classmates began to shun me. No one even wanted to be near me because of what Orla did.”

“Is this true?!” Bran’s tone grows aggravated, and he’s finally as furious as the rest of us are.

Orla cackles a tad, and it’s evident to the rest of us that she’s trying to think of a way to get out of this. “I mean, it wasn’t as horrible as everyone’s making it sound.”

“Did you do it or not?” Bran pressures her for some sort of answer.

“I . . . um, I did, but Bran it—”

“Get the fuck out of our house,” Bran grits, and Orla swallows hard. She must think he’s kidding, but he continues to glare at her. Finally, she rises from her seat and walks toward the door.

“Jeremy, see to it that Orla never steps foot on our property again,” I state, speaking to one of the members of our security team. He gives me a curt nod and follows Orla, ensuring she won’t be back.

Bran turns to address the table. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize it was quite so serious.”

“It’s okay . . . I just wish you would’ve asked me before, rolling in the sheets with that disgusting woman.” Delaney makes a gagging sound, and Keeva cackles.

“Oh, I didn’t. I’ve made her suck my cock over the last couple days, but that’s about it,” Bran answers.

Eamon busts out into a fit of laughter. Meanwhile, Keeva and Delaney look absolutely disgusted.

“That was way more information than we needed,” Keeva tells him.

“Someone change the subject, please,” Delaney begs.

Keeva clears her throat and looks my way. “So, brother, have you and Delilah made up your minds yet? Or are you two going to be lying to yourselves forever? You can’t really think that you don’t have a connection with her.”

“Not that it’s anyone’s business, but we spoke last night. We’ve been on quite a few dates now and things are going well, so we’ve decided to take the next step.”

“Which is?” Keeva bangs her hand on the table, needing the answer.

“Delilah is my girlfriend.”

“Awe, yay! Delilah is such a breath of fresh air. I’m so glad you chose her,” Delaney adds.

“Yeah, and not some bimbo like Orla,” Keeva speaks up.
