I brace my hand against her face, my motions slackening to a deliberate stroke. Tears slide down her cheeks, prompting me to kiss them away.
“Hold onto me,” I say before kissing her nose.
My arms wrap around her back, and I hold her firm against my chest as I drive hard and fast into her. She whimpers in my ear, still riding her own orgasm, and with just a few more strokes, I come deep inside her.
I think my soul has left my body.
I think it escaped and sank itself into her somehow.
Because that moment is confirmation enough that I’m all hers—that I’ve always been hers. She’s always held my heart in her hand. And now, she’s manually pumping blood to the rest of me.
She picks her head up once we’ve both nearly caught our breath, and her tired, satiated smile meets me.
“Did you lock the door?” she asks.
I almost laugh. “That’s what you’re thinking about?”
“I’m asking because I don’t want to move,” she says, her nose brushing mine. “And I wonder how long we have before one of my brothers burst through the door.”
Even with the mention of our predicament, there’s nothing anyone can do to bring me down from this high. I cup my hand around her cheek and kiss her unhurriedly.
“Probably about five minutes,” I say, and she chuckles.
She lays her cheek against my chest and closes her eyes. “Two-minute cuddle, then.”
The butterflies still haven’t stopped fluttering. “I’ll set a timer.”
CHAPTER NINE - ANDI
I CAN’T STOP staring in the mirror at my naked body.
Last night…fuck, last night…
Somehow, Maddox and I had ourselves cleaned up only a few minutes before Reed knocked on the pool house door. I was back in my sweater and a pair of leggings I found in the closet and sitting at the bar with a half-empty beer and bowl of popcorn like I’d been working the entire time. We’d removed all the sheets on the windows, and despite the fact that I could still feel Maddox’s cum leaking out of me when my brother sat on the stool at my side to look through photos, there was no other evidence that anything had happened.
Of course, had my brother seen Maddox’s display of absolute assertion upon my body like I was looking at it now, he would have thought differently.
The warm water feels like a massage over my sore muscles, my swollen and bruised skin. I stay in the shower longer than usual, replaying every kiss and touch.
No one has ever looked at my body or seemingly worshipped it as he did. Even the stretch marks on my soft belly and the dimples on my thighs... he looked at them like they were just as sexy as someone with none of those blemishes.
Last night, Reed mentioned the band having breakfast with the journalist Bonnie’s been fucking all week. It's a meeting that the manager insisted they all be on just in case Adam had gotten to the press without them knowing.
The last thing they want is an ambush, and the possibility of Maddox losing his privacy has them all on higher alert. They're even combing through social media sites for any mentions of him.
I hear the car in the drive when I get out of the shower. Reed is yelling something, and as Maddox shouts back, I look out the window to see the Escalade. Bonnie and Reed are hanging out of the windows while Maddox grabs his pants as if he forgot something.
“Come on,” Reed says. “Just forget about it. We can come back after breakfast.”
Maddox presses his hands to his jacket and his back pants pockets again. “I forgot my—fuck—”
“What, did you forget your wallet?” Bonnie asks.
“Mask, dude,” Maddox says. “Go ahead. I’ll grab a car and meet you there.”
“You sure?” Reed asks.
“Yeah. I think it’s all the way in the laundry in the back. Go ahead. I'll catch up,” Maddox says as he turns on his heel.
