“It’s you and me, baby.”
“Good.” She smiles. “I can’t believe I went on that date with him.”
I laugh.
“It’s not funny, Christian! It was so bad.”
I shrug. “I warned you that it would be.”
Lana rolls her eyes and I bring my lips to hers. I kiss her a bit, deep and slow, and I take advantage while her other employees are making themselves busy before the lunch time rush I was warned about.
But when she moans, she pulls back. “This is too dangerous.”
“Let’s close early.”
She chuckles. “We can’t do that.”
“Why not? You’re the boss.”
“And the businessneedsmoney, Christian.”
I groan. “Money is a concept.”
Lana guffaws. “You’re so funny.”
I frown. “Let me take you home.”
Lana shoots me a look. “How about after we close, you can take me home and do whatever you want to me. All night.”
I smirk. “I don’t want to make sex deals, Lana.”
She rolls her eyes and pokes my sides.
“I just…can’t get enough of you,” I whisper. “I think you’re my healthiest addiction.”
She huffs a soft laugh.
Lana is my healthiest, greatest addiction of all. I never want to give her up. I need her all the time, everywhere I go. She is the only thing that gets me the highest I have ever been and puts me in the most blissful, drunken state of happiness.
My drug of choice.
“And you’re mine,” Lana whispers, brushing her lips over mine. “But sex marathons aren’t healthy.”
“Says who?”
She shrugs. “Doctors, probably.”
“Doctors are a concept.”
She rolls her eyes again and unwinds her arms from around me, shoving my chest. “Get back to work before I fire you.”
I pull her back by her hand and wrap my other around her jaw, stealing one last kiss. “Yes, boss.”
Lana is yanking me through the front door by the belt loops of my jeans, giggling as we kick off our sneakers. “You’ve ruined me.”
I laugh breathily on her lips, tripping over our feet. “Yeah?”
Lana jumps and I catch her with my hands on her ass, holding her up and to me as I take us toward the seating area. “God yes,” she sighs, her hands capturing my face. “I always want you.”
