I turned to the group. “How can we help you?”

“We’re throwing a pre-bachelor party for Adam. And also for you because we didn’t get to throw you one,” Lex said.

Noah jumped off the bed, practically taking the bedsheets with him and almost exposing me.

“Noah!” I managed to get a hold of the extra blankets at the foot of the bed in time to cover myself.

The sound of a camera shutter echoed in the room. I looked at Ellie as she put her phone away.

“What? I like this picture.” She pointed to the wall beside her. “I want to find one like this for my living room.”

“Can we have some privacy to get dressed?” I asked since no one seemed bothered about standing in our bedroom while we were naked. “Unless you want to watch what you interrupted when you barged in. You all know Noah is a whore for attention, and I’d do anything for my dear husb—” They ran out of the bedroom, slamming the door shut.

Noah jumped back into bed. “Were you serious?”

“Fuck no. We’re getting dressed.”

He smiled wide, his eyes coming alive. “Lioreo, when I couldn’t possibly love you more, you go and stoop to my level to tease my brothers.”

I wrapped my hand over the back of his head and drew him in for a kiss.

“I told you I’d do anything for you, husband.”

TWO MONTHS LATER

Ipicked up my pace as I walked through the park to the basketball court.

Today was one of those days I wished I lived on the other side of the park because I was running late.

Lesson to myself. A quick orgasm in the shower with my husband was never just a quick orgasm.

Was I ever going to get tired of waking up to Lior? Of snuggling on his chest? Of playing with his beard as I fell asleep?

No way. He was the endgame for me.

With the basketball court in sight, I ran the rest of the way, but I slowed when I saw no one around.

I tried to think if West and Drew had canceled the game but couldn’t remember anything. Shit, did I miss a notification from this morning? I’d run out of my apartment because I was late and hadn’t thought to check it.

The gate was locked.

Ugh, I could have stayed in bed with Lior. I was going to murder the guys.

“Hey, Noah.”

I turned around and saw West and Drew.

“Hey, guys. Where’s everyone?”

“They’re at a different location.”

“Oh, new court? I kinda liked this one,” I said, looking back at the old court. We’d had some fun times here, but I knew, eventually, we’d move to the hospital when the reno was all finished.

“Um…not quite,” West said. He joined me by the fence. “I’m going to need you to go with it, okay?”

“Go with what?”
