“I say you forget about it and enjoy the money. You said the community is desperate for support. Use it all for a good cause,” Seymour says.
“You’re right. Besides, it may not even be him. My friends know a lot of people of influence, artists, etc. Maybe it was one of them.”
“Yeah. Changing the subject, how do you feel about a curry for dinner?” he asks.
“I’d love it.”
Seymour goes to the kitchen to place the order, leaving me to my thoughts.
What if the person that made the donation was Mik’s dad?
Why won’t that family leave me alone? I did what he asked me to do, even after all these years. I’m sure the contract is likely not even valid, at least the part where I can’t make contact with Mik. He’s an adult and can do whatever the fuck he likes.
Not to mention he was the one who found me.
I ran the other day, but if I see Mik again, I’m not running. No. I’m going to get some fucking answers.
Probably.

TYLER
THEN
The first thingI notice when I wake up is that Mik is no longer with me. When I pull his pillow closer to smell him on the fabric, a small piece of paper falls from it.
Morning, baby.
I didn't want to disturb your sleep, but trust me, it took all my strength to not wake you and make good on my promise from last night.
I'll pick you up from work so we can have dinner together before I get back to LA.
Love,
Mik x
I can’t believe I fell asleep on him yesterday. I’d been working myself up to ask him to fuck me, and then he turned the tables on me by saying he also wants that.
My dick thickens at the thought of topping him, but I have to get to work, so I push the thought aside for now. Maybe next weekend, if my dad feels better, I can take him up on his offer to stay at the pool house. In hindsight, it was probably a good idea not to have sex with my dad asleep downstairs. I’m not exactly silent when I come.
Dad is at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front of him by the time I make my way down.
“Hey, Dad.”
“Hey, son. How did it go yesterday?”
“It was awesome. Best venue yet.” I pour coffee into my travel cup. “We think there were scouts there last night.”
“Oh really? That’s promising. Sorry I couldn’t stay up to wait for you. After dinner, I was beat and went to sleep early.”
I hug him, feeling his much thinner frame beneath my arms. I try to ignore the lump in my throat. “It’s okay, Dad. I understand. I’ll fill you in tonight.”
“You still out with Mik?”
“Yeah, he’s picking me up from work, so I’ll take the bus in.”
My dad smiles.
