“Every single day for the rest of my life if I could. But I’ll settle for one amazing party followed by the rest of our lives together, in front of the fireplace, me writing, you trying to read over my shoulder.”

He wraps his arms tight around me. “Sounds like the most perfect life.”

I claim his mouth again. “It already is.”
