"It's official, I'm a bear and I'm ready to hibernate. Wake me up in the spring," Ash says, yawning.

I force myself to get up to put the rest of the pizzas in the fridge.

"Can I get you something else to drink?" I ask.

"No, I'm good, thanks. If I put anything else inside me there's a one hundred percent chance I'll explode, and it'll be a bloody mess on your pretty cream carpet."

I put the food away, and as I'm ready to go back out to the lounge, I freeze. I have no idea what happens next. What if Ash didn't mean anything by what he said earlier?

After deliberating a little too long, I step out, ready to ask Ash if he'd like to watch a movie, but when I get to the lounge, Ash is fast asleep on the couch.

I sit next to him and he doesn't even stir. His curly hair is half draped over his eyes, and his mouth is open just a tad as he breathes deeply in and out.

My hands itch to touch him, and I can't help it. I move his hair back slightly so I can look at his beautiful face. Ash has a couple of beauty spots under his right eye I hadn't noticed before. They make him look youthful and cute.

Xander, stop being a pervert and leave the man to sleep.

I get up and take the blanket I had on the back of a chair to cover Ash up.

He still doesn't move, so I go to my office and grab a book to read. I could use my laptop to do some work from home or answer emails on my phone, but there isn't a single bone in my body that wants to do that.

I feel like today, with Ash, I can take a day off my life. Work will still be there on Monday, and I can catch up over the weekend if I need to. Providing my parents don't spring another family dinner on me, I should be able to spend as much time with Ash as he’ll let me.

Ash stirs on the couch, so I put my book down. He smiles, stretches, and slowly opens his light brown eyes, but when he sees me, he sits straight up.

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, Xander. I don't know what happened. I fell asleep on your couch. How rude of me."

I chuckle, sitting next to him and pulling him into my arms.

"You had a really difficult time and a pretty long day. Not to mention more pizza than any person should be able to eat in one sitting. It's okay, I'm glad you felt comfortable enough here to sleep."

He smiles. "I blame your fireplace. It's hypnotizing."

"Not as hypnotizing as you."

Ash blushes and looks from my eyes to my mouth.

"Did you mean what you said earlier?" I whisper. Our lips are so close it's inevitable that we're seconds away from kissing, but I need to know. I definitely won't push for something Ash doesn't want.

Ash's answer comes in the form of a kiss, and this time, there's no reluctance before he opens his mouth to let me have a taste of his sweet tongue. It's warm, wet, and so good I find myself hardening.

If I was already attracted to Ash before, there's no way I'll let him go now that I know how it feels to have him soft and pliant in my arms.

"No one's ever kissed me like you do," Ash says.

"Their loss." I go for his neck and suck his skin. His moan spurs me on, and I move to get him to straddle me.

When he does, I can feel his erection against mine. While he was asleep, I changed into sweatpants and a shirt, so my clothes do nothing to hide Ash’s effect on me.

“Xander,” he gasps, rolling his hips against mine.

“Yes?”

“Is it time for a tour of your bedroom yet?”

I shake my head, even as I carry on kissing his neck and up to his lips again.

"We're not done with the lounge."
