“Unless she got the spell from my parents, do you think it would be something strong enough to fool me?” I bellow, my voice shaking the room. “I am the warlock and the most powerful being in the galaxy. I do not need your petty jealousy and pathetic plotting to protect myself. Here, let me show you.”

I hold out my hand, much like I did to Mithus, and I start to absorb all her power. Her screams of agony are music to my ears. She begs me to stop, promising to do better and be better, but it is too late. She showed her hand and I’m calling her bluff, or however the human idiom goes. I continue to take, absorbing first her anger and jealousy before moving onto her power until she becomes as powerless as Lila. Unlike the delicious feast that Lila’s anger provided me, Elyan’s emotions are bitter and rancid, and I can’t wait to be done with this. Once I feel the last of her power leave her, I stop and pump energy back into her, making her whole once more, ensuring she will survive what I’ve done to her so she can suffer the consequences for her traitorous words. Whole and powerless andnothing. I thought about killing her, but that would have ended her suffering, and she could be reborn later. This way she has to live a lifetime with no power. I drop my arm down to my side and step back, satisfied with my punishment.

“What have you done?” she screams and stumbles to her feet. She holds out a hand like she’s trying to attack me with her power, but I just chuckle when nothing happens.

“You have been punished for your traitorous words, Elyan. You should never have even thought about Lila and the Adams brothers in a harmful way. It is not for you to decide who runs the circus or to dictate what I do, where I go, or who I see. You are a nobody. You are nothing but a warm body for me to use and discard as I needed. And now you are even less than that.” I watch as the realization that she has screwed up dawns on her face, and I can’t help but smirk. “Now you will not find your way into another harem. You will be reduced to menial jobs, and even then, possibly not because you have no power. Your best bet would be a Celesian brothel. You’ve always been very good on your back, I will give you that. You have talented tentacles that really know how to stoke a man’s pleasure.”

Her tentacles might be talented, but that’s about the extent of it. She was a rather unadventurous and prudish lay, which is why she would never join in with everyone else. Heaven forbid Mithus fucks her with his double dicks or Sinath clamps his cock into her mouth.

“You will be confined to your sleeping quarters until we are able to organize a transport for you to Westalin or we return there. You will not be given the harem bonus that is in your contract, nor will you be given references so you can find yourself a new harem. The shame of being kicked out of my harem and being powerless will follow you everywhere.”

She tries to launch herself at me, and I freeze her mid-strike. I turn to deal with the other five. “As for you five… Topirey, you have a reprieve, for you have not upset me today, but I suggest you step away from the others and return to your room.”

He quickly extracts himself from Nambra and hurries away, his raging boner weeping precum because I hadn’t let anyone orgasm. He will find that once he gets to his rooms, he will be free of the ban, and if he chooses to take care of himself, I won’t care.

Lexus and Nambra are sobbing, desperate messes, and Mithus is not much better, while Sinath is clamped into Nambra. I wave a hand, and both males lose their erections so Lexus is able to clamber off of him and Sinath can pull free of Nambra’s mouth.

“Did I give you permission to heal yourselves?” I ask quietly, and they shake their heads.

“But you didn’t say we couldn’t,” Mithus retorts stubbornly as both his hands go to his cocks and he fists one in each, trying to get his erection back.

I raise an eyebrow, and with a wave of my hand, his own hands explode, and because they were wrapped around his cocks, they are caught in the crossfire. His genitals are reduced to blobby mounds of flesh, and his arms have stumps at the ends as his screams echo around the room. Blood runs down his body and onto the couch.

“Mithus, your pleasure has always been under my control, and you know that. I have been lenient and let you use one another, but your contract says you are for my exclusive use only and I have the right to punish you if you do not adhere to this. This is my punishment.” His screams die off as he loses consciousness. Lexus is covered in bits of Mithus, and she sobs as I listen to his heartbeat stutter before it ceases to beat any longer.

“Take this for what it is—a warning. You will remain in your sleeping quarters and will heal as slow as a human as a reminder to never cross me again or think you are more than what you actually are. Consider this your notice of termination, and be thankful it’s not permanent like Mithus’s is,” I tell the two female warlocks and the Rasque. “Now get out of my sight.” They can’t move fast enough, and they quickly disappear, leaving me with a frozen Elyan and Mithus’s corpse.

“What a mess,” I grumble and wave my hands. Mithus’s body disintegrates, and then I use my power to clean up the mess he left behind. The whole entire time, I let Elyan watch. I’m hoping she will be discouraged from trying anything. I would have killed her, but her father is one of my father’s advisors. It’s why she is in my harem to start with. He’s not going to be happy with her lack of powers. Maybe killing her would have been kinder.

I unfreeze her, and she quickly changes her mind about attacking and quietly leaves the room without looking at me. I’m not sure she will stay docile, but I need to make a call to my parents, so I have to trust that she will do as ordered. I will be able to feel if anyone leaves my quarters, though, so I think we’re good for now. She’s also no danger to Lila at the moment, since she is as powerless as Lila is, or so everyone thinks.

I return to my living area and throw myself into my lounge pit before waving my hand at the picture window. It becomes opaque, and I use it to call my parents. It’s always tricky to video call someone out of the blue, but when I work out the time on my home world, I realize it’s midday, so I think I’m pretty safe and won’t find my parents naked. I take a drag on my water pipe while I wait for the connection. I need something to calm my rage, killing Mithus and stripping Elyan of her power wasn’t enough.

“Xavier, my boy, so good of you to call. Your mother has been pining for you.” My dad’s face fills my screen, and he’s wearing his stern, warlock king expression. I must have caught him in the middle of something official.

“Am I interrupting?” I ask casually, not really caring if I am.

“No, nothing important. Hang on a moment, and your mother and I will move to another room.” I can hear blustering and insulted tones in the background as my father gets up and moves, taking the communication orb with him. I can also hear my mother trying to smooth over my father’s rather rude departure, but it doesn’t seem to be going well. My father stops, and there’s a pause, followed by my mother’s outraged gasp. “Cronus! You can’t freeze the Telazion representatives like that,” she admonishes as he starts to move again.

“Who’s going to stop me?” He chuckles as they move into their private office next to their throne room.

The orb shuffles around a bit, and when it stops moving, my parents are sitting together as my mother beams at me. “Hello, darling. Your dad was lying, of course. It is him who has been lamenting about how horrid and neglectful his oldest son is to his aging parents.”

I snort at my mother’s exaggeration. “Hardly elderly.”

“What can we do for you, my boy?” my father asks, ignoring my mother’s teasing.

“I need you to tell me what you did to Lila Jenson.”

They exchange a confused look before my mother responds, neither of them knowing Lila’s new name.

“Who?” she asks.

“Lila Jenson, or maybe you would know her asLiliana Adams.”

My mother gasps before putting a hand over her mouth, and my father’s deep purple skin pales until he’s almost as light as me.

“I see you recognize the name.” There’s no hiding the annoyance in my tone now, and they both flinch. It’s an unusual reaction from them to say the least. Nothing normally fazes the almighty King and Queen of Westalin.
