After ten minutes, I get sick of waiting, pushing my way through the doors that separate this room from the other. On the other side sits Doctor Link, engrossed in whatever is written on the large monitor in front of him. Clearing my throat, he startles slightly before his face lights up at the sight of me. “Lila, hey.” He looks behind me and frowns. “Where’s Josa?”
“Hi, Doc. Is that the guy out in the reception area?” I ask him.
“Yes, he’s my nurse,” he tells me, gesturing me over to the examination bed.
“He left as I walked in, about ten minutes ago. I’m sorry about interrupting you. I got tired of waiting, and I have somewhere I need to be in an hour.” His frown deepens as I explain, and I almost have the strange urge to brush my fingers over his cheek to smooth it out.Why in the world do I keep wanting to touch people? Jesus, Lila.
“That’s weird. He’s supposed to be working all day.” I shrug and jump up on the bed, ready to get this taken care of.
“Okay, never mind, let’s do this.” He moves over to a nearby cabinet and starts pulling things out, setting up a tray of tools before bringing it back over to me.
“Okay, let’s just check your vitals before we do this.” He places the tray down on a table next to the bed before pushing my knees apart and stepping into them.
Whoa, none of my doctors have ever been this close before. With his hands on my knees, his eyes change again, swirling before he scans my body. I can feel the cool touch of his hands through my pants, and a little tingle of awareness tickles my core even though he’s being very professional.
He clears his throat softly and steps back from me.Damn it, he can probably tell that he’s turned me on again.“Right, everything looks good. Dehydration and exhaustion from yesterday seem to have been corrected.” I’m glad he doesn't mention the horniness because we both know that that’s not changed. “I just need to inject the translation chip behind your ear.” He steps away and grabs something from the tray on the table.
“Is this going to hurt, Doc?’ I ask him, trying to distract myself from what’s about to happen.”
“Call me Link, and just a slight pinch.” He moves around behind me, and I feel him brush my hair to one side, his hand tickling my neck as he does. Goosebumps erupt across my skin, and it’s not from fear. “Just shuffle back a bit, please.” I do, shifting until my back is flush with his front. He wraps an arm around my waist and holds me tightly against him. “Try not to move,” he whispers in my ear as his grip tightens and he puts the instrument against the skin behind my ear.
There’s a small whooshing sound and a quick stab of pain, but all I can do is flinch since he’s got me held so tightly I can’t move. We stay in the position for a moment, our breath syncing together, and I can feel his chest rising and falling in time with mine. After a moment, the pain disappears, and his grip loosens as he coos in my ear one more time. “Good girl.”
He moves away from me, and I shudder from the loss of his body warmth and maybe somewhat from the words. There’s nothing sexier than hearing a hot man praise you in low tones. Even though his skin is cooler than mine, it was comforting. Without his body pressed against me, the air of the room feels cold. A warm burn on both my shoulders has me gasping, but as quickly as it arrives, it disappears. Must be a side effect of the implant.
He stumbles slightly, a look of shock crossing his face, before moving back around to face me, placing the instrument on the table, and gesturing for me to shuffle forward once more. When I do so, he steps between my legs again, getting in close, and says something to me in another language that I don't understand.
Frowning, I shake my head at him. “I didn't understand, sorry.”
He pushes back his sleeve and fiddles with the monitor on his arm again. “What about now? Did you understand this time?”
“Yes, I did. Are you speaking another language?”
“Yes, I was speaking the native tongue of my home planet. Alright, it looks like you are all done.”
I wait for him to move once he tugs down the sleeve of his shirt, but he doesn't. Instead, he crowds in closer and puts his hands back on my thighs. His tongue comes out and wets his bottom lip, drawing my eyes to them. Plump and a raspberry red, it’s hard to believe that this man is not all flesh and blood. “Lila, if you would like to get rid of that other problem, I’m happy to help you out with that. All cyborgs are programmed with the same systems the pleasure bots from our planet are so famous for.”
Did he just offer to take care of my horniness problem? Is that legal here?
“Of course, from a purely medical point of view, it would be better for your concentration and well-being if this problem was rectified, so you could think of it as the doctor’s orders.”
God, I would love to say yes to this, but I’m really not sure. I mean, I’ve just met this man… cyborg... and I’m not sure if I’m technically his boss. Maybe there’s something in the tablet that’ll clear this up for me. God knows I don’t want to ask the grandpas about this one. .
“I can tell that you are unsure. Humans have such hang-ups about sexuality, but you’ll find that most of the rest of the galaxy doesn’t. There are no strings attached, nor is there anything expected in return. This is me just helping you out as a friend. I’d like for us to be friends, Lila.” He can’t hide the sparkle in his eyes no matter how professional he tries to keep his face. His interest in me seems genuine, though I can’t for the life of me figure out why. I guess that doesn’t really matter though since there are a lot more important questions pushing to the front of my mind.
I want to know all about this man’s make up. Is he more machine than organic organism? How are they born? Are they made like this, or do they grow? Is his dick metal or flesh? And what would it feel like sliding into my hot pussy? “Well, when you put it that way...” I break off, and he grins, starting to undo the button on my jeans, but before he can go any further, the medical room door opens.
In walks the nurse from before. “Dr. Tesla.”Huh, I wonder if that’s a coincidence. “Did you call me?” He waltzes into the room even though every single one of us knows he hasn't called him. He’s a slender, effeminate thing that has the same type of shimmer to his skin as Link. His hair is a metallic shimmery green, and his eyes match, though those eyes are looking at me with incredibly blatant disgust. Do they have enhanced hearing too? It’s the only reason I can think of for him coming in here. He must have heard what he offered me.
A small quiet growl escapes Link’s lips before he shakes his head. “No, Nurse Spears, I didn’t.”
“Oh, well, I could have sworn you did. Dylan is out in the waiting room, says he’s here forher.” He puts on this air of flightiness, but when I look at him, there’s a smooth calculation in his eyes.
As much as I’m cursing him internally, maybe it’s for the best. Though Iwillbe searching out Dr. Link Tesla as soon as I can in a nonprofessional capacity. Purely for data-gathering purposes, of course.
He squeezes my thighs and steps away from me so that I can jump down from the bed.
“Let me know if you have any problems with the implant, but you shouldn't.”
