“Pick a room.” I wave a hand in the direction of where they are. “But don’t unpack because we’re moving to a new location tomorrow.”
“Oooh, mysterious, I like it.” Alex pats me on the ass on the way past and winks cheekily. Jace rolls his eyes and follows him.
“Brad asked me to give you these.” Shane pulls a folder out of the laptop bag over his shoulder. Handing it to me, he leans in and gives me a kiss on the cheek. “And he asked me to give you that too, and to tell you he misses you.” A slight pang of guilt hits me for a moment, and I feel myself frown. Shane grins. “And then he told me to tell you not to feel guilty and he hopes you have a great time causing trouble. What did he mean by that?”
“Go put your bags away and come back. I want to talk to you all about what’s going to happen.”
He nods and follows after the guys, leaving me with just Cole since Riku and Ash have also made themselves scarce.
“So, how was the flight?” I grasp at a conversation starter because I’m nervous as fuck all of a sudden.
“Flying on one of your family’s planes has completely spoiled me, especially that one. I’m going to hate going back to flying commercial.” He picks up his suitcase. “You want to show me to my room?”
“Yeah, okay, sure.” I lead him through the penthouse apartment, past the bedrooms that Ash and Riku have their stuff in despite having slept in my bed, and it looks like the other three are going to sleep in the same room. How the three of them are comfortable in a normal king-sized bed, I have no idea, but they make it work.
“This is mine, and there are a couple more that you can choose from.” I wave my hand down the corridor, but he drops his suitcase and stalks toward me, frowning.
“Is something wrong, Jacinta?” he asks in that imperious tone of his that gets my hackles up.
“No, why would you ask that?” I cross my arms defensively, and he stops.
“Because you’re all nervous and fidgety. Are you still having withdrawals?”
I growl at him. “No, you fucktard. You make me nervous, all right?”
“Oh really, why?”
“Because I don’t know where I stand with you, and I never know what’s going to come out of your mouth, compliment or criticism.”
“Yeah, I can understand why you might feel that way, but shit, there’s just something about you that has me messing up all the time. You’re so beautiful, and maybe I just can’t believe that someone like you would be interested in someone like me.”
“What the fuck, dude? You were married to a Victoria’s Secret model.” I’m even more confused and frustrated now.
“You know what? Fuck it.” He grabs me by the waist and yanks me toward him, his mouth on mine. As our tongues tangle together, he steps us backward into my room and pushes the door closed, pinning me against it. His hands run up my body, lifting me so that I’m trapped between him and the wall. I wrap my legs around his waist, and he grinds his hard dick into me. “God, I haven’t been able to get you off my mind. The feel of you beneath me, the taste of you in my mouth… It’s like this memory that runs over and over inside my head. My brain doesn’t function in your vicinity because it reverts to that time in the closet, and all it wants me to do is fuck your brains out again. Tell me yes.” His voice is husky and kind of desperate, and I figure there’s time for talking later. Maybe what we need is to get over the physical stuff to be able to move forward.
“Fuck yes.”
ChapterNineteen
Jacinta
Sex with Cole was just as good as the first time, but this time he fucked me face-to-face and ravished my mouth and tits while he owned my pussy. After that, we took our time on the bed, snuggling together, talking about Spencer, how much Cole’s looking forward to being a full-time dad, and how I felt about being introduced as his girlfriend.
Finally, I haul myself out of Cole’s arms. As much as I don’t want to leave them, we have something important to discuss. “Come on.” I slap his naked ass as he groans and rolls onto his front, burying his head in the pillow. “Don’t you want to know what those files are about?”
I hear him mumble something, but it’s muffled by the pillow, so I slap his ass again. If I take a moment to caress the round globes, well, I’m only human. Not getting any response from him, I try a new tactic, sinking my teeth into it. That gets me a yelp and averyquickly moving Cole. I giggle as I get dressed. His ass now has a perfect imprint of my teeth, and I can’t deny how good that makes me feel.
He scowls at me and rubs the offending spot before stalking toward me with retribution in his eyes. Spinning, I race out of the bedroom before he can get to me. It wouldn’t surprise me if he followed me, naked and all. He doesn’t strike me as the shy type. When I get back to the living area, everyone is sitting around the table, eating.
The conversation doesn’t stop as I take a seat, bless them, and Ash piles some food onto a plate for me.
“It shouldn’t be too cold. It hasn’t been here long,” he assures me.
“We waited as long as we could, but when Ash’s stomach started screaming at us, we decided we better not wait for the two of you.” Alex winks as Ash flips him off.
The food is delicious, and it doesn’t take long before Cole joins us. His hair is wet, so he must have jumped into the shower before coming out. I appreciate the fact that he’s washed up rather than come down to the table smelling like me. Jace grins at me, not missing the flush on my cheeks.
Cole takes a seat next to Shane, who stands up and starts passing him dishes before grabbing him a beer and me a glass of wine. It’s all so domestic and sweet, and I can picture how our lives could be.
