Jacinta:Bitch, now that we’re friends and maybe sisters, you’re not allowed to just disappear without a word. I want details, woman, all the details…

Jacinta:Except the sex ones, those I don’t need to know.

Someone else sounds a little friend needy too. Now looking over my shoulder, the boys chuckle when I scroll through Jacinta’s messages, and Jaxon sighs, the sound fully relaxed. I didn’t realize how much it would mean to him just to have Jacinta call a ceasefire on me, but there was a lot of weight lifted in that noise.

Now, Oliver…Oliver…. What has Oliver sent me? I open up the picture and... oh, dick pic.

Kai grimaces, turning his head to nuzzle into my hair instead of keeping his eyes on the screen any longer. “Nope! Too early.”

“Hah, see? That’s what I said about you!” Jaxon exclaims triumphantly.

“Do you two really need to be reading over my shoulders?” I ask dryly. Ignoring them, I keep flicking through the messages. If they don’t want to see dick, they don’t need to read my messages.

Maxine: Call me bitch…. I need some advice.

Hmm, now I’m worried. There was no joke from Max about sex or the guys or anything, and that’snotlike her. Max will be my first call when I get five minutes, but for now I tap out a quick text saying I’ll call ASAP.

Alex:Harlow love, we’re back!! I have so much to tell you. Call me.

Alex:We picked the car up from your dad’s. Jacinta was looking mighty fine. Nana introduced her to Jace, and the sexual tension in the air was delicious. I hear the two of you are besties now. I need all the deets. Call me.

Alex:Bitch, you’re not ignoring me are you?

Alex:Harloowwwww

Alex. You better be getting ravished. That’s the only excuse I will accept for ignoring me.

Alex:Fine!

Now, I’m cackling. Alex makes my soul happy. I so needed another friend, and he is perfect. Before I can reply to him, the phone is plucked from my hand, and both of the guys are staring at me with hints of annoyance.

“Is there anything going on with you and Alex?” Kai asks quietly, his voice full of enough undisguised jealousy that I’m not sure he really wants to hear the answer. I cock my head at him in that universal signal for an explanation. I think I already know where this is going, but these boys are going to need to work on their communication.

“Because I'm happy sharing you with my brothers, but not anyone else,” Jaxon growls before Kai can answer. Unable to help it, I snort, the sound escalating into a giggle when they just start to look more exasperated.

“Yeah, no, that’s absolutely not a thing and never will be, because they have the biggest crush on your sister.” His immediate reaction is one of relaxed happiness, but then I think the rest of my statement registers.

“Jacinta? And two guys?” he asks, looking kind of ill.

“Possibly three!” I reply helpfully. “And don't be a hypocrite. You want me to have five.”

“Not five, six,” Kai corrects just as helpfully, all smiles again now that Jaxon’s the only one feeling uncomfortable.

I ignore the six comment because I really think they're off the mark with Thomas. Not ready to dive down that rabbit hole before I’ve even had breakfast, I stand up, shoving my phone into my pocket. I’ll read Declan’s text and respond to the others later. I’m sick of the nosy peanut gallery.

“Can I get that tour of the hotel now?” I ask Jaxon, hoping to distract him from all the information running through his brain, and it works.

“Sure can. Let’s go.” He holds out his hand, looking excited.

“Are you coming?” I ask Kai as I accept Jaxon’s offer, but he shakes his head.

“No, I’ve got to get a few things ready for our morning, and I need to make a call to the office to ready those contracts for the guys. Go have fun with Jax. I’ll see you at breakfast.”

All three of us exit my room, and while Kai goes to his, Jaxon and I head toward the elevator.

“I thought we’d go down to the bottom so I can show you the dungeon and a couple of the themed rooms, then we can head upstairs to the penthouse.”

“Sounds like a plan,” I tell him.
