When she nods against me, I push her hair back from her face, gripping it in my fist and begin to move. I pull all the way back before snapping my hips forward. Again. And again.
Daisy moans, sending vibrations straight to my balls. “Fuck, yes. Again.”
I pull out, slam forward and she moans, her eyes rolling.
I marvel at her tear-streaked face as she takes everything I give. It’s not gentle. It’s primal. It’s desperate. It’s four years of pent-up frustration and anger being released.
And she takes it all.
Her hand reaches out, delicate fingers gripping my balls and I hold back a shout as she squeezes gently.
“Jesus, angel. I’m not going to last. I need to be inside you right now.”
She sucks in a deep breath as I release her, but I don’t waste a second. I push her backwards and she falls onto the bed with a gasp that is cut off quickly when I climb over her and cover her mouth with mine.
Her legs wrap around my waist, her arms around my shoulders, clinging to me. I tear my mouth from hers, holding her eyes as I reach between us, lining myself up with her centre.
My heart races in my chest, a droplet of sweat rolls down my back. Daisy cups my face, her eyes telling me she feels everything I’m feeling in this moment.
The weight of everything we lost hangs between us. All the pain and heartache swirls in the space where her breath meets mine. The words that are yet to be spoken, explanations still needing to be given, all of it fades away as she blinks up at me with tear-filled eyes.
“Killian,” she whispers, her voice cracking.
“I know, angel.” I lean down, my lips touching hers softly.
And then, for the first time in four years, I slide home.
DAISY
Killian squeezes his eyes shut as he pushes into me. His body trembles above me, goosebumps prickling along every inch of his skin.
I close my eyes, the moment too intense as my back arches and I suck in a breath at the foreign fullness.
“Daisy, I don’t know how long I’m gonna last. I haven’t been inside a woman in four years, angel. I’m hanging by a thread here.”
What?
My eyes fly open, landing on his that now search my face with a pained expression. The breath seizes in my lungs. “Y-you haven’t been with anyone else?”
His jaw ticks as he shakes his head. “No.”
“Me neither.”
That makes him freeze. His arms lock tight, his eyebrows shooting up to his hairline. “What?” his voice is barely above a whisper.
I reach up, my hand cupping his jaw. “There has been nobody else. Only you.”
Killian’s head drops, a rush of air escaping his lips and coasting along my neck. “Fuck.”
Panic settles in as he remains motionless above me, his head buried in the crevice of my neck where it meets my shoulder. His breathing is rough and ragged, his hot breath against my skin sending tingles throughout my body. I try to come up with something to say, something to take back the truth I spilled without thought.
But when Killian pulls back, the words die on my tongue. His eyes are dark, almost feral as they roam my face. Slowly, his lips curl at the corners, higher and higher until his face transforms with an unhinged smile.
And then he’s on me.
His hips snap back before slamming forward abruptly, sending him deeper than before and causing my mouth to fall open on a gasp. Killian uses that as his opening. His lips claim mine in a hungry, all-consuming kiss that makes my toes curl against the sheets beneath me.
His hand curls around my thigh, hooking my leg around his waist as he thrusts into me. The change in angle allows him to go impossibly deeper and when I feel the cool metal of his piercing hit that sweet spot inside of me, my eyes roll.
