Tuva laughed. "Women have been doing it for thousands of years. Now go. Go finish that nursery."

He kissed her cheek. "Thank you. I love you."

"I love you, too, my boy. Your mother would be so proud of you."

Her words warmed his heart as he hurried back upstairs. He was amazed when he walked in and saw so much already done."

"Wow. You guys are fast."

Drake glanced at him from where he was putting a mural on the wall. "Sarah already had it painted, so it's really just decorating."

Colton held up a screwdriver. "And putting stuff together." He almost had the crib put together.

They made quick work of the furnishings, and before long, the entire nursery was completed. Luke stood back and surveyed the room. "Sarah is going to love it."

The crib sat in the middle of the wall, and bright, colorful butterflies had been placed as if flying from the bed. The curtains matched the bedding, and the changing table and dresser had similar motifs. Tyson was finishing up stacking the diapers, and Logan had hung all of the little outfits that their little princess would one day wear.

"I can't believe she's here."

Colton slapped Luke in the back. "You didn't have as much time to get used to the idea as we did. Watching her grow is going to be amazing."

"I'm glad that you will all be here."

Vinia walked in the room and stopped short. "Oh, my word."

"What, Ma?" Colton asked.

"It's amazing. Absolutely adorable."

The men all stood back while the women worked the room with the decorations and supplies that they had accumulated on their shopping trip.

"There," Vinia declared, "all done. Ready for a baby."

Larisa grinned. "And fit for a princess."

Luke crossed his fingers that they were all correct and that Sarah was going to love it.

The next day when Sarah carried Aleena up to their chambers, she waited for Luke to open the door. "I guess we need to get to work on the nursery since we obviously don't have the time that we thought we would."

He took the baby from her. "Why don't you go in and see what you want to do first."

Sarah kissed Aleena's little face. "I can't believe that she's ours."

He held his breath as she walked toward the nursery. A second later, he heard her cry out. "It's amazing."

Relief flooded through him. She came back out with tears streaming down her face. "You guys all worked together to get it done?"

He nodded. "We wanted you to be focused on the baby and not stressed out about finishing her room."

She kissed him soundly. "Thank you. I love it."

He gestured for her to go into their bedroom. At the foot of the bed sat the hope chest that he had made for her. “Made by my own two hands so you would have it.”

She lifted the top. “Luke, it’s beautiful. Thank you so much. I love it.”

“It’s a gift of love.” He sighed. “And while I’m not in any hurry, it needs to be done. Do you want to do the royal announcement this afternoon?"

She nodded. "I know you have to do it in some timeframe."
