"I do most of the baking for the ranch guests. Ma still does special things like pies or sweets, but all the bread-type stuff comes from right here." Sarah snickered. "It was challenging when I was rushing off to meet you all the time."

He kissed her slowly, savoring every moment they were connected. "Sorry about that."

"I'm not," she answered with a smile. "But for the first couple months with the little one here, just the smell of baking bread made me sick. It was fun."

"You can be in charge of the royal kitchen when we return. I don't know the first thing about cooking."

She pulled away. "That's twice now you've mentioned the castle. How are we going to work this?"

The door opening interrupted them, and a man stormed into the bakery. Luke heard Sarah groan as he stiffened to meet the challenge he read from the guy's demeanor.

"Who is this?"

Sarah pushed on the guy's chest. "Who are you to barge into my house demanding anything?"

"Logan said some guy was looking for you yesterday at Active. And Ma is wondering where her breakfast rolls are."

Sarah pointed to a huge, covered basket. "Wren and I finished those last night. She was supposed to come and pick them up this morning."

Luke noticed that Sarah intentionally left out half of the question.

"She said you had company so she didn't want to interfere."

"And she was right." Sarah picked up the basket and shoved it at the man. "Here."

"Who is this?"

Luke stepped forward with his hand out. "Luke."

"Colton."

"You're Sarah's brother." He recognized the name from conversations with Sarah in the past.

"I am. And you are?"

"None of your business, especially before coffee." Sarah pushed past both of them. "Which I need right now."

Luke followed her to the kitchen with Colton right behind him.

Sarah poured three mugs and sat on a stool. "I didn't want to do this right now, but Colton, meet the father of my baby."

Colton didn't seem very surprised. "I figured. You're not in the habit of entertaining men."

"Really, Cole?" Sarah's outrage almost made Luke chuckle. It was good information to know, though.

"Where have you been for the last five months?"

Luke hadn't anticipated Colton being so direct, and he looked at Sarah for some guidance on how to answer. Sarah threw up her arms.

"Can you just wait until we make the announcement and subsequent explanations for when we're all together? I don't want to piece mail this drama, which is what it's bound to turn into."

Colton opened the door and headed out. "Fine. I'll tell Ma to add one more to breakfast."

"Great," Sarah muttered after he was gone.

"You don't want to tell them who I am?"

"It's not that. We have an entire family staying here for a couple weeks, which means we're going to have a bigger audience than just my family."
