God, he was watching me!
I looked down at my body. He was seeing me now!
Shit! Shit! Shit!
“Bastard!” I yelled, hoping he was listening. I snatched my towel from the couch and wrapped it around myself, a part of me screeching at how useless it was since he’d seen it all. Why did he put a camera in my house? Stalking me like a deprived, bloodthirsty vampire wasn’t enough?
Was he insane?
Was that even a question?
He’d lived his life practically showing me how insane he was.
Where the fuck was the camera? I scanned the living room with my eyes frantically, my eyes snagging on the box bookshelf above the mantelpiece. Scurrying to it, I flipped through the books I gave no shit about, finding a small black camera at the left end of the top shelf.
“Fuck you,” I said to it, walked to my kitchen and dropped it in the sink, opening water on it.
My phone buzzed. Furious, I checked to see it was from him again.
It was a picture. A picture of me standing in my kitchen, glaring at the sink with my towel doing little to cover my nakedness.
Fuck, it wasn’t just one. Judging from the angle, it was from somewhere high, overviewing my living room, kitchen and the hallway leading to my room.
That could only be from...
I traced the direction, my gaze stopping on the clock propped up on the wall some distance from my front door. Farfrom where my hand could reach. How many did he have? If he had a camera in my clock, where else could he have put it?
My eyes widened.
My room!
I began to type in horror, but a message slid in.
Theon:I don’t have a camera in your room.
My chest almost gave out. God, he’d been watching me. That night wasn’t the first time he’d seen me naked.
Me:You think I’ll buy that? Go to hell, dumbass. I never want to see you again.
I would die of embarrassment if I did. But right now, I was furious. And I couldn’t feel anything beyond that.
Theon:Don’t fucking say that.
Me:I never want to see you again.
It took a minute before his next text came in, and I filled that time with the thought of what to do. I was too angry to just sit, my body was on fire. I was so dumb. He loved watching me, why didn’t I think he’d put cameras here?
He wasn’t normal to begin with.
Theon:You looked mesmerising when you came. I couldn’t look away.
I took a deep breath in.
That was it.
I dashed inside and threw on my clothes, my fists aching to punch his teeth out of his mouth. Maybe that way, what he just witnessed me do to myself might fly out of his deranged head as well.
My phone dinged in my pocket as I made my way to the door after picking a knife from the kitchen. I should draw blood while I was at it.
