As I watch, he heads back upstairs a couple of minutes later, to the main level, to the kitchen. From there through the living room, upstairs, and then everything settles.
I don’t want an argument with him tonight. I set his alarm system and head back upstairs to my bedroom, where I strip and slide into bed with Declan.
In sleep, he snuggles against me, spooning around me.
