Declan:I’m waiting for you at your house. I want to see you tonight. Please?

George:D’s at your house waiting for you. I told him to spend the night there. If you don’t want to see me, fine, but don’t punish him, please?

George:I’m sorry if me showing up this morning pissed you off. Don’t take it out on him.

George:You took the girls out and didn’t notify EPU? WTF?

George:CALL ME, DAMMIT!!!

Declan:Please call Sir. He wants to know where you and the girls are. He’s worried.

Declan:I love you. Please let me know when I can see you. I miss you. I’m sorry for whatever I did, just tell me what to do to make it up to you.

George:I told him to come home. It’s obvious you’re ducking us. Be pissed at me, fine. I can take it. But that’s pretty shitty taking it out on him when he hasn’t done anything wrong.

Declan:Good night, Ma’am. I love you.

I text Declan back.

You didn’t do anything wrong, boy. I love you, too.

I take a screenshot of Declan’s texts, and then turn my phone off again, roll over, and hope I can fall asleep. George can be pissed at me all he wants. I can deal with that.

Frankly, I think I prefer it.

In some ways, it’ll be easier to deal with.
