“I won’t ask you again,” Declan quietly says. “Either get on your knees, or don’t.”

“Ican’tlose anything else.” The tears roll down my cheeks, a waterfall, an absolute flood. “I lost her, I’m losing you. I don’t have anything else to give.”

“You’renotlosing me, baby,” he says. “You can havebothof us. But it’s time for you toshowme.”

“Ikilledfor you!” I hiss.

“Case, you killed foryou. My desires dovetailed with your desires, but you’d painted a target on Junior before I met you. I was willing to take that heat, butyoumade that decision forbothof us, didn’t you?”

I stare at him, unable to make my mind focus.

“Choose, Case,” he says.

I stare into his eyes again. When he was eighteen, I made him mine. He’d never been with anyone but me, until I brought him and George together.

In our entire time together, he’s never done anything to make me think he’s not loyal to me. Even after introducing him to George.

I realize I’m slowly sinking to my knees.

That’s when Declan smiles. It’s a sweet smile, satisfied and humble, all at the same time.

Myboy.

But they’re still not moving.

Oh, right. There was a part two to that directive.

Terror nearly upends my stomach, but I swallow back my fear. I try to lose myself in his gaze and not think about Ellen’s sweet green eyes.

“I want to be with both of you,” I manage. “Please?”

He immediately steps in and gently cradles my head in his hands. His fingers twine through my hair as he smiles down at me. “That’s all you had to do, baby. Was that so hard?”

I try to breathe, but it feels like my lungs can’t draw in enough air.

He folds himself over me, holding me as I sob, my face pressed against his abs. “I love you,” he whispers. “I love you, and I’m never letting you go. I promise.”

I feel George move in behind me, but he kneels there, pressed against my back, his arms around me and Declan both, lips nuzzling the side of my neck.

“I love you, Case,” George says. “You’re ours, and we’re yours. I’m never walking away from either of you. Whatever we have to do to make that stick in your soul, I’ll do it.”

“But for tonight,” Declan says, “your ass ismine, and I’m spending every minute of it markingmyterritory.”
