“Not when it comes to you,” George says, kissing me. “He can sneak back over later.”

I sigh. “Guys, I’m literally exhausted. I’ll spend every other night with you this week. Everyone’s clearing out in the morning. I’ll come over and cook breakfast with Aussie. Tonight, I need sleep. I’m okay.”

I finally coax them back home once we’re out of the shower a few minutes later. I walk them downstairs and give them both a kiss before sending them out the door to the SUV waiting on them.

I close my door once they’re on the way, and I give serious thought to setting my gate lock-out.

But after thinking about it…

No. I’m done locking either of them out of my life. We’re a team. If they’re bound and determined to send Dec over here later, okay, fine.

Although, I have to admit, I am looking forward to spending the rest of the week with the two goobers.
