We didn’t make it very far inside my house before we starting ripping each other’s clothes off. Macio bent me over the couch and fucked me with every ounce of frustration he’d had from holding back for several hours. It was fast, dirty, and everything I’d been begging for every time I stroked his dick through his jeans.
Macio growled in my ear and I whimpered every time he pounded my prostate with the broad head of his dick. It didn’t take him long to make me come all over my leather couch or for him to fill my ass with his spunk.
We took a quick shower and climbed into my bed with the intention of sleeping until late morning or early afternoon. I had no idea what time it was when pounding at my front door woke me up.
“I swear to God, if that’s Rupert, I’m going to kill him,” I growled.
Macio laughed and said, “There’s no way Rupert is at your front door. It’s probably your buddy Seth or evenGarrett.”The jealous way Macio said Garrett’s name made me smile.
“Doubtful,” I replied. “I guess there’s only one way to find out.”
I got out of bed and slid on my robe and heard Macio do the same. I wasn’t sure what the hell I expected when I pulled open my front door, but finding Troy Danvers sure as hell wasn’t it.
“Hey, kids,” he said nonchalantly, as if he expected to find Macio in my home.
“Worse than Rupert,” I said to Macio over my shoulder.
“Oh, that’s just mean,” Troy said, clutching his chest like I had stabbed him in the heart. “You’re going to change your opinion about me once I tell you why I came.”
“Okay,” I replied. “Why are you here?”
“Can I please come in?”
“Say no, he could be a vampire,” Macio said in mock horror.
“Again with the insults,” Troy said in a wounded voice. “Fine, I’ll just go on back on home and let Macio find out the hard way that his publicist is planning to stab him in the back.” He turned and started down my porch steps.
“What?” I asked.
“Get back here,” Macio growled. “What the fuck are you talking about?”
“Rupert contacted me yesterday and told me he had a story to sell me. I thought it was about another fighter and agreed to meet him for dinner. Imagine my surprise when he handed me this photo.” Troy reached into jacket pocket and pulled out the photo of Macio fucking me against the windows in his house.
“Get in here.” Macio grabbed Troy by the collar of his shirt and pulled him inside my house. “Start from the beginning and don’t leave a fucking thing out.”
Icouldn’t believe what the fuck I just heard or what the hell I was seeing. Both Aiden and I sat down and listened to everything Troy Danvers was telling us about his meeting with Rupert. My heart was aching like I’d been stabbed … or maybe it was my back that was hurting since that was where Rupert planted the fucking blade. I trusted him, I loved him as my friend and it hurt me to know he wanted to do something so devious to me. What the fuck had I ever done to him to make him want to betray me like this?
“I never liked or trusted his ass,” Aiden said, slamming the photo of him and me fucking on the cocktail table. “That first photo was highly suspect. Even then, I wondered if he took it himself and tried to pretend like someone else did. That would explain why he got so defensive at the time.”
Aiden made perfect sense. I sat back on the sofa and looked at Troy. “So, are you here out of the kindness of your heart, or do you want something for this information? I mean, you’ve been stalking me for months, trying to get a scoop like this. Am I to believe you’ve grown a soul and a conscious?”
Troy sighed. “Maybe I don’t like what Rupert’s trying to do to you. Maybe… just maybe I have some integrity.”
“Bullshit.”
Troy frowned. “I do have integrity.”
“Since when? I find that hard to believe, not after the scandals you’ve been behind,” I shot back.
“Maybe I have a conscious.”
I gave him the side-eye. “This would be one hell of a story, though. MMA champion who’s a closeted gay, dating an out reporter for Ringside Magazine. Why are you passing up on it?” I needed to know what his damn angle was. I was still trying to wrap my mind around Rupert’s betrayal, I didn’t need any more surprises.
“I respect you, Macio.” He turned to Aiden. “I respect you, too. Maybe in the past, I did sell my soul for a story and made a lot of enemies.”
“Ain’t no ‘maybe’ to it,” Aiden clarified.
Troy huffed and sighed. “Look, I’m trying to do the right thing here, give me a break.”
