He laughed and picked up his phone, bringing it to his face. “That felt sooo damn good.”

“It really did. That was amazing. I miss you, Aiden. When can we get back together? I feel like I’m dying of thirst whenever you’re not with me,” I admitted. I wanted to feel him in my arms again. I wanted so damn badly to slide myself inside of him and become one. I wanted to see the look of ecstasy on his face, knowing I was the one giving it to him. I needed him like I needed air. “When can I see you again, baby?”

“Well, I’m going to be in Vegas this weekend covering the Heavyweight championship match between Gaynor and Philips. We can meet up then,” Aiden said to my utter excitement.

“Boxing is for pussies unless you’re throwing some elbows and knees and feet into the mix,” I taunted.

Aidan laughed. “Ahh yeah, MMA fighters and your belief that you’re the baddest bad boys in all the land.”

“Hell yeah, we are.” I laughed. “Come to my home, my property is very private and peaceful. I have high gates and cactuses to keep out nosey fucking paparazzi.”

“Oohhh, your home… not some hotel room. This is getting serious, isn’t it?”

“As serious as it can be. I can’t wait to have you in my arms, to feel your legs wrapped around my waist as I fill you to the brim.” I couldn’t help but growl at the thought and my dick twitched back to life when I heard Aiden let loose a longing moan.

“After the bout, you better be ready for me, because I’m going to ride you hard and put you away wet,” he said.

“You better.” We both laughed and gave each other another round of phone sex since we’d worked each other up into another sexual frenzy. Afterward, we talked for hours about every topic we could just to hear each other’s voices. Finally, the sun was coming up and we were too tired to go on. We said our goodbyes and I totally crashed.

“You look very handsome,” Rupert said, coming up behind me. “Ahhh, let me do it.” He took over tying my tie for me since I was having problems. I wasn’t used to dressing up and having to wear bowties and shit.

“Thanks, fucking thing was getting on my damn nerves,” I complained as I stood still, letting him work his fingers on the tie.

“Yeah, I could tell. Okay, there, all done.” He looked me up and down, appraisingly. “Gorgeous,” he whispered.

The comment caught me off guard, I didn’t think he meant for me to hear it, or maybe he didn’t mean to say it vocally. He looked up at me and smirked. “It’s nice seeing you in something formal is all I meant. You look very Bond,” he said, clearing up my confusion.

“Um, yeah. Well, we both know I look like the guy who is going to kick Bond’s ass,” I joked.

Rupert laughed and patted me on the back. “True, especially with those killer fists and feet you have. Now, did you memorize the answers to the questions Barry and I gave you this morning?”

“With the short notice, I did my best,” I pointed out.

He shrugged. “You’re the one hellbent on dating that reporter. Plus, you kept it a secret from us. We’re just trying to make sure we can protect you from yourself. Be glad Barry’s lovely daughter is willing to be your beard.”

I rolled by eyes. “I am. Don’t get me wrong, I do appreciate the length you’re all going to help me. Anyway, I did memorize them.”

Rupert nodded. “Good. Whatever you’re not sure of, let Kathy answer. That way you two will look more like a couple, which is what we want the public to believe.”

I nodded. “Okay.”

“Remember, don’t be afraid to be intimate. I know she’s a woman, but you can’t be shying away from her.”

“I know,” I said with a bit of annoyance.

“Hey, kid, I’m just going over the pointers. You’ll be on your own tonight.”

I frowned. “Aren’t you coming?”

“I’ll be there, yes, of course. The wife and I will be looking pretty and filtering questions. I’ll be working the room for you. But you’ll be there answering questions on your own. That’s why I’ve been doing all this training with you, so you can handle those sharks,” Rupert said.

I smiled. “Yeah, I’m ready.”

“Good, because I think the limo is here. I see lights in the driveway.”

I walked over to the window, looking out. Sure enough, there was the limo Rupert had rented. He wasn’t going to ride with us. He was going with his wife, Lori, who was waiting in the car. He’d only stopped by really quick to check in on me and make sure that I was ready for tonight. Thank goodness he did, because I might not have ever gotten that damn bowtie fixed.

“Okay, let’s go.” I grabbed the corsage from the refrigerator and met Rupert at the front door. We both walked out, he headed towards his Mercedes and I climbed into the back of the limo and the driver shut the door behind me. “Wow, Kathy, you look amazing!” I exclaimed when I saw Kathy Vincennes sitting across from me in a stunning and very sparkly black dress with spaghetti straps. Her black heels had to be at least four inches high, which would put her at five eleven. A good balance to my six-four. Her silky blonde hair was done up in a fancy bun with curls trickling down. She looked beautiful. If I was straight, I’d be a lucky man. Well, I was a lucky man because she was willing to help me. So, all in all, she was a great friend.
