“I need to see you come apart for me one more time.” The deep timbre of his voice in my ear ratcheted up my desire.
If asked, I would’ve said that I had nothing left to give, but Macio proved me wrong. He worked my cock with one hand and teased my hole with the other until I emptied my balls once more. Macio rose to his feet and I turned and got on my knees.
Macio traced my lips with his thumb. “Do you have any idea how often I think about these lips and the pleasure they give me?” I shook my head. Macio cupped my chin and pressed his dick to my lips. I opened my mouth and sucked him in. Macio hissed with pleasure before he said, “More than what’s healthy.”
There were no more words, only satisfied grunts as I worked to pleasure him. I savored the way he gripped my hair and owned my mouth. Never had someone’s pleasure been so important to me. Every growl, moan, and groan that emanated from Macio’s throat spurred me on until he came while shouting my name. The adoring look in his eyes was all the reward I needed.
We toweled off and got back in the bed. I pushed away the melancholy that tried to invade my happiness and snuggled closer into Macio’s side. His heartbeat thumped away solidly beneath my ear, reminding me that he was real – what we shared was real. It would have to be enough.
“You want to give room service another shot?” Macio asked me after we woke again. He laughed when my growling stomach answered for me. “I take that as a yes. Same thing you ordered last time?”
I was flattered that he remembered. “Sure.”
We both got dressed while we waited for room service to arrive. Macio came up behind me, wrapped his strong arms around me, and pressed his nose to my neck. “I love that you smell like me now.”
I hoped he was referring to me using his stuff in the bathtub because I was too embarrassed to tell him I had purchased the same shampoo and body wash as him. I stayed in the bedroom when Macio went to answer the knock at the door. I was thrilled that history hadn’t repeated itself and it was the hotel staff at the door and not Rupert again.
I looked at the overwhelming amount of food on Macio’s plate and grinned. He had a rare steak, an egg white omelet with vegetables and cheese, fruit, and hash browns. “Refueling,” he said between bites. “The morning after a fight is my favorite because I can add some extra calories into my meal.”
I caught him eyeing my French toast a few times, and made a big production out of eating it. I brought the fork slowly up to my face, then closed my eyes and moaned loudly once the bite was in my mouth. When I reopened my eyes, I saw a new look of longing in his dark gaze. I felt the sticky residue of syrup on my lips and licked it with my tongue. “Want a taste?” I asked him.
“Yeah, I do.” Macio said. He laid his fork down, reached for me, and slid his tongue inside my mouth for a French kiss instead of a bite of French toast. “All of the taste but without the calories,” Macio said after he broke our kiss.
I sat there staring into his eyes, wondering once again just how I had arrived at that moment with him. What was it about me that attracted a man like Macio and made him want to take risks to be with me? Out of all the men he could have, why me?
“So, that’s why you didn’t want an escort last night.”
Macio and I jerked apart and turned to look at Rupert, who’d let himself in. Macio and I were so wrapped up in one another, we didn’t even hear the door open. My heart sunk when Rupert’s words penetrated the shock at seeing him there. I pushed my hurt away because I knew that Macio wasn’t a virgin when we met and I had no claims on his past. Besides, we had more pressing matters to contend with at the moment. My heart sunk when I saw the angry scowl on Rupert’s face and wondered what consequences our night would have for Macio.
“My evenings are none of your business,” Macio said firmly. “What Aiden and I have…”
“Could destroy your career,” Rupert finished for him. “Do you know what you’re risking?”
“Maybe I should clear on out of here and let you guys talk.” I started to stand up, but Macio placed his hand on my arm to stop me.
Macio’s chin went up and his spine stiffened. “Rupert, you’re my publicist, not my keeper. My personal life is my own – not the fans’, not Barry’s, and certainly not yours.”
“Kid, I only want what’s best for you.” Rupert tempered his voice so that he once again sounded like a concerned father.
“Aiden is what’s best for me, Rupert.” His confident words were a balm to my frazzled nerves.
Rupert let out a resigned sigh before he offered Macio a tentative smile. “Okay, Macio. If he makes you happy, then I’ll do everything in my power to make sure you get to spend time with him.” Rupert then looked at me. “I look forward to getting to know the only man to penetrate Macio’s walls.”
Macio’s phone rang beside his plate. “I need to take this.” Macio rose to his feet and was half way to the bedroom before he answered. “Hey, Rico. What did you think about my fight?”
There was an odd expression on Rupert’s face as he watched Macio walk away. I couldn’t quite put a name to the emotion I saw there. Rupert turned and looked at me once Macio shut himself inside the bedroom. “How much will it take for you to go away?”
His question shocked me at first, but then anger set in. Did this dumbass think I was just another guy he could pay off? I wasn’t interested in Macio’s money. I only wanted the man. I told myself to be patient because I was sure Rupert had seen many ugly things in the business and knew nothing about me. I told myself that he’d trust me once he did.
“I won’t hurt him, Rupert. I don’t want his money. I don’t want to hurt his career. I only want him.” I was as honest as I could be and hoped it would thaw some of the tension between us. “Neither of us meant for it to happen. We both thought it was a one-time thing, but it developed into something more significant.”
“I want to believe you, Aiden, because I do want to see my boy happy.” Something in the way he said “my boy” troubled me. “I don’t think you’re what Macio needs right now. You’re both a distraction and a ticking time bomb for his career.” Rupert sneered at me and added, “But I’m not worried. You’ll be nothing more than a distant memory before long. Macio will fuck you out of his system, then go back to putting all of his energy in his training.”
His words broke my heart, but I’d be damned if I let him know it. Rupert didn’t know fuck about our relationship or what we were coming to mean to one another. There was no way I’d let him run me off. “I guess we’ll just have to see, won’t we?”
Rupert opened his mouth to answer my challenge, but Macio walked back into the room.
“What did I miss?” Macio dropped a kiss on my forehead before he sat back down across from me.
