He might have known her body, but she wasn’t in the dark with regards to his. She could tell he was close and she pushed back into him and arched her back so her breast pushed into his hand.

“Madison.” She liked the way he groaned her name. She wasn’t the only one being affected.

“Dante, come with me.”

And he did. He shot jets inside of her as he continued to pump inside her body. He triggered another orgasm in her, a soft but no less powerful one that wiped her out. She didn’t think she could move after that.

Dante pulled out and picked her up off the bed and carried her into the bathroom. He cleaned her and himself off and then dried them off. She was still wrapped in a fluffy towel when he kissed her on the lips.

“I have to go.” He wrapped his arms around her, pulled her close to him. “I’ll see you tonight.”

“See you tonight.” She walked him out to the front door and watched him leave. It was later than she would wake up. She would have had breakfast by now and be ready to go visit Henry. She would get dressed and grab something on the way.

Dante left Madison’s place. Why hadn’t he been able to leave without kissing her goodbye? Lucky for him, she didn’t live that far away from the club, so he wasn’t going to be too late for the meeting with his cousins. He hadn’t bothered to check his phone when he was with Madison and there was no point in checking it now. Whatever they had sent him, he would see when he got there.

Inside the office he found Enzo, Lucca, and Gabe. Lucca was a coffee snob so he had brought coffee from his favorite place for everyone. Dante grabbed a cup and sat down behind the desk.

“What was this important early morning meeting that you called and are late for?” Gabe asked, taking a sip from his drink.

“Yeah, where were you?” Enzo eyed him with suspicion from the wall. “Ed said you left early. That’s not like you. I dropped by your place, and you weren’t there.”

“I had something to do.”

“Something or someone?” Gabe gave him a knowing look.

Dante trusted Ed with his life, so he knew he didn’t say anything. Gabe was fishing around. But, what worried him was Enzo. He didn’t want anyone finding out that he was seeing Madison. No. He wasn’t seeing her. They were just sleeping together. Nothing more than that and it was good to remind himself.

Dante leaned forward. “I got a call.”

“Wait, you were out last night so you didn’t hear Lucca’s news.” Gabe slapped Lucca on the back. “Tell Dante there will be a wedding.”

“What wedding?” Dante looked between Gabe and Lucca and tried to avoid Enzo’s eyes.

“I won a man’s daughter in a bet. And Dad said she’s to be my wife.” Lucca sank into his chair.

“Isn’t that some crazy shit?” Gabe let out a laugh and sat on the corner of the desk.

“What? Are you serious?” Dante stared at Lucca.

“Yeah, her pops bet the business and her. I had collected her, but when I bought her to the all hands meeting last night, Dad decided I needed a wife.” Lucca rubbed the back of his neck.

“Is she on board?”

Lucca shook his head and pinched the bridge of his nose. “I don’t think so. Her dad hadn’t even told her yet. I’m supposed to pick her up and move her into my place to get to know each other for our engagement period.”

“How long is that?”

“Three months and then we tie the knot.” Lucca’s hand moved to his temple.

“Is this what you want?” Dante leaned back and brought his hand to his chin.

“You know I can’t refuse Dad.” Lucca’s hands came down on his thighs with a sense of finality.

“Right.” Dante nodded. This was some serious shit.

“Anyway, besides my news, what’s yours? I hope it’s better than mine.” Lucca stretched out his legs.
