“Tonight,” she snaps back at me. “One of you per night. No touching. Jess seems to think that having you close would do it. And that’s as much as I’m willing to give.”
My fists clench around the promise in her words. She’ll let us help.
“Yes,” I swear. “Whatever you want.”
She gives me a death glare as she turns around. “Not you. Jax can be the first.”
I glance at him, and he’s damn near bursting out of his seat. “I-uh-,” he says, clearing his throat when Sienna turns to him. “I’ll be there, shortcake.”
“Fine.” Sienna walks slowly over to a doorway, dark wooden stairs leading out of sight. “And you’re all idiots, by the way.”
She turns back to me, and the pain in her eyes… fuck.
“If you had just been honest with me,” she says plainly. “None of this would have happened, Tristan.Noneof it. I would have kept your secrets.”
She glances at Gray and Logan, and away. “I would have fought for you,” she says bleakly. “Ididfight for you. But not one of you did the same for me.”
She leaves us to simmer in a pool of our own shame, drowning under the weight of our decisions.

SIENNA
Imanage to make it to the top of the stairs before I bend over, my hands gripping my knees for support.
Now I know.
And I’m not sure what – or who – I’m most pissed at.
Jessalyn pops her head out of our bedroom door and rushes down the hall. “Si? What happened?”
“They told me everything,” I say numbly. Straightening with her help, we walk back to the bedroom, and I huddle up in my covers as I talk her through everything they told me.
Her eyes are round as saucers. “They knew? About those men, and they didn’t say anything?”
“Yep.” Keeping my eyes on the door, I laugh weakly. “Remind me again why I thought having Soul Bonded would make this the easiest thing in the world?”
Fucking hell. My Soul Bonded are a bunch of morons. I don’t even know where to start on unpicking the clusterfuck they’ve just talked me through.
“I understand why Tristan made the decision he did,” I muse. “They didn’t know me. Any other omega would have withdrawn at the Bonding Ceremony.”
“But they’re your Soul Bonded,” Jess snaps. “And they just carried on!”
I swallow. “Guess I wasn’t enough to make them rethink.”
“Oh, fuck off with that,” Jess stands up, her hands flying up as she paces up and down the small space next to her makeshift bed. “All the way off. They do not fucking deserve you, Sienna. They deserve to live the rest of their lives on their own, staring out of windows with sad little faces and chewing over the mess they fucking made.”
She whirls, pointing her finger at me. “Tell me you’re not softening.”
“What? No!” My fingers twist around.
“I’m so angry, Jess,” I admit. “I don’t even know where to start with them.”
She collapses next to me in a huff. “Vengeance,” she muses, “is a dish best served to alphas who have royally fucked up.”
I snort. “I don’t think I’m in the best condition to plan out any sort of revenge right now.”
She leans over and squeezes my hand. “But you spoke to them? About… about helping?”
