“We can still put photos in it if you want to. This was just a rough draft.”

“I love it.” I held the book to my chest, not letting Erica have it back.

“It doesn’t outdo this, though.” She turned around, walking back through the story that was our life.

She stood in the middle of the room and I came up behind her, wrapping my arms around her waist, kissing the top of her head.

“You know what?” I asked.

“What?” She didn’t look up at me, but the photo straight ahead of us, the one of The Ink Well when it was an old warehouse building.

“As crazy as our story is, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
