“Fine. One kiss. That’s it.” She moved away from Law and crossed her arms in front of her. Everyone around us watched as we came together for one last kiss. It wouldn’t really be the last, but it was definitely the signal to an end of this chapter for us, but it was also the start of something new.
I laughed after Law pulled away and his eyebrows scrunched together.
“What’s so funny?” he questioned me.
“Do you know how many times I’ve thought about us starting a new adventure?” He didn’t answer me, but an amused look crossed his face. “I feel like every time a new month starts we are off to something else.”
“I hope that’s not a bad thing,” he teased.
“Never,” I quickly stated. “I just hope we never stop having adventures.”
He leaned down, and Leah started to object to another kiss, but Law waved her off. His lips touched mine again and when he pulled away, he got the last words once again.
“Adventures are what we were made for.”
