It was impossible to keep my voice down. I was too fucking gone, and I needed to come. Images of climbing on his dick manifested behind my eyelids as I cried out his name.

“So…good,” I panted, watching myself bounce on his cock. Pressure mounted, and my strokes increased until I felt the walls of my pussy constrict around my fingers. “Fuck…I’m going to come.”

Throwing my head back, a grin curved my lips with the image of an unsuspecting Silas beneath me, climbing to his own release as I plunged my knife into his chest and rode out my orgasm.

Two days. For two days, thoughts of Silas had occupied my mind. His voice, the way his hands felt over every inch of my skin, that ridiculously broad chest. But above all, I’d fantasized about putting a bullet through the back of his head and ruining that luscious long hair of his. He was a waste of a man, but I refused to dwell on his fate any longer. He was just a name on a contract—a bounty to collect like so many before him.

I was supposed to be vacationing in Greece with my father, but when Cillian Clark called, he made an offer I couldn’t refuse. Not that I needed the money, but it’d been a while since I’d felt the thrill of a hunt.

“Ma’am, are you ready to order?”

I tipped my head up to meet the eyes of the waiter and flashed him an easy smile. “Just a water, please.”

He nodded once and retreated inside the small cafe.

My phone chimed, and a message from one of my informants appeared on the screen.

INFORMANT: We lost him.

Jaw tensing, I punched in a reply.

ME: Useless.

How had Silas given them the slip if he never should have known he was being trailed in the first place? Fucking worthless bastards. I’d given him two days to cool. To think he’d hurt or frightened me to the point I wouldn’t return.

But as they said, if you wanted something done…

I pushed my chair back and stood, tossing my phone inside my bag, when the deep tone of a vaguely familiar voice forced me to freeze.

“Where are you going, love? You can’t leave and start your day without a proper breakfast. Killing men twice your size takes effort.”

My hand darted toward the weapon beneath my blouse, but he caught me by the wrist and tugged me against his hard chest. Face tilting in his direction, I narrowed my eyes as my jaw clenched.

“Let go.”

“Sit,” he ordered, the command rocketing through me like he was talking directly to my pussy. I squeezed my thighs together and slipped on my poker face.

“I’ll make a scene.”

“Will you now?”

Ripping my hand from his, I slowly sat back in my chair, my eyes never leaving his, not trusting his motives for confronting me in the open and in front of a crowd. Intimidation? Probably. Though he obviously had no clue, I was afraid of nothing and no one.

“What’s your name?” he asked, pulling out the chair to my right and sitting. His gaze burned with hatred.

“Technicalities again, Silas?”

“You lured me into my hotel room and tried to kill me. Stabbed me.” He leaned closer, teeth gritted. “You fucking stabbed me.”

“No harm, no foul, right?”

“You’re going to tell me who the fuck you are, or I will—”

“You’ll what?” I asked, closing the small gap between us so that merely half an inch separated our faces. “Kill me? In front of all these witnesses. That’s messy, Silas. No wonder there’s a bounty on your head.”
