“Too much? Oh, Sophie. Did it hurt?” Jesse looked worried suddenly. “I didn’t think it hurt, I’m sorry, Beautiful.”
It hadn’t hurt. It had been like a really deep stretch, the kind that burned, and then left you feeling satisfied. Speaking of satisfaction... “It didn’t hurt. It feels good. I’m just not... there. Yet.”
Jesse looked concerned, nodding over her. “I didn’t want to rush.”
Her head languidly rotated to the side, finding the digital numbers on his bedside clock. “Believe me, you’re not rushing.”
“So... I can keep going?” he asked, a playful smirk appearing on his face.
She giggled and nodded. As she wrapped her leg over the back of his, moaning and nibbling on his ear, she realized her life had changed in more than just physical and emotional ways. Even her thoughts were changing. She’d once envisioned herself having sex. It would be with someone desperate and horny, or maybe someone drunk. It would be once, and she’d consent to it simply to have the experience as if somehow sex could make you complete.
“Do we do this again?” She rubbed her hands lingeringly over his smooth, hard back.
“I might need a break in-between. I’m not sure how much of a break. Never done this before.”
“Me, either.”
He rested his head to hers so that his blue eyes locked onto her onyx ones. “I like finding out new things with you. It’s nice to... to really feel alive again.”
She kissed him. “Or for the first time.”
The little conversation spurred them both on, that idea of living and discovering creating an urgency between them. Her voice came out in loud rasps that gave easy to sharp groans as her hand traveled south, rubbing them both where their bodies connected, suddenly creating an explosion of satisfaction inside and out.
Her hands wove into his hair and she held him fiercely, biting his lip as her body was wracked with orgasms, a little one that burst into something bigger. His fangs burst, too, nicking her lip as his spine hollowed out and his hips landed home, warm seed spilling in her.
He kissed her lip, the taste of human blood unexpectedly potent, stiffening him instantly, even before he’d parted from her. “Are you okay? Oh! I bit you. Not on purpose.”
Sophie smiled, finding herself as comfortable with his ruby eyes as she was with his blue ones. “I know. I think I bit you first.”
“The fangs...” Jesse looked self-conscious and pulled them back in with an effort, his face fully human once more. “They kinda killed the afterglow, didn’t they? They’ve only ever come out when I was fighting.”
“Like arguing?”
“No, like real fighting. The ‘bad visitors’ in Pine Ridge.” Jesse rolled off of her gently, keeping her with him, tucked to his side. “Damn. I’m doing it again. Can you kiss me so I shut up?”
Sophie snuggled up to his chest. “Nope. I like hearing you talk. I like you talking to me.” She looked up at him, her tongue trailing slowly over her split lip. “You thought I was from Pine Ridge, huh?”
“No, but I thought you might have heard of it.”
“Because I’m not quite human?”
Jesse shook his head firmly. “No, because you’re human with extra. I don’t know what it is and I don’t care. I don’t think it matters. I loveyou, Sophie.”
A smile spread across her face. “I love you, too.”
