When my hands make it to his ass, I make my intent clear, kissing him through the intrusion of one slick finger, then another, eating up all the whimpers and moans he presses against my lips as I work him to a frenzy. He’s tight, so goddamned tight, but soon he starts moving, riding my fingers.
Fuck, that’s hot. My breath catches just watching him under me.
When his whole body lights up and the whimpers round on the edges into keens, I know I’ve hit his prostate, sensitive fucking thing too. “Hands stay put, sugar. You won’t need them tonight.”
Theo white-knuckles his grip on the bed, shivering at my promise, and I move down his body until my tongue can join my fingers.
“Matt!” Theo bolts up as well as he can while holding on to the headboard. I lick and kiss, remembering what he liked when we were at my cabin. It is a thorough fucking, even though our dicks aren’t yet involved. When my mouth moves closer to his dick, Theo’s lean torso contracts every muscle, and he throws his head back.
“That’s it, sweetness. Let go. All of it. I want all of it.” I move my finger, back on that oh-so-sensitive ball of nerves. Tap. Tap. Then a circular rub. Tap. Tap. Rub.
A long exhale rushes from Theo’s lungs, that last piece of worry he never really sets down. I drink it up with kisses.
Fuck yeah. He will set it down tonight. Finally.
I work him over with both fingers, rubbing and thrusting until he calls out and comes, without so much as a kiss to his pretty cock.
Once he’s spent, I make up for that with several kisses. Then I move up his body, straddling his waist. Pulling his hands off the headboard, I rub out any numbness settling in his hands from his tight hold. I move up more, my thighs barely over his shoulders before he leans up. Wrapping his arms around my hips, he takes me in his mouth as far as he can go. I come so quickly, it’s a good thing I don’t count how few bobs of his head it takes, or my ego would be crushed.
The top sheet will have to do for quick clean-up because that’s all I have time for before Theo is buried in my arms. He’s going to drop out fast, so I get up despite his drowsy protests—thefalling asleep after orgasmthing he does is incredibly adorable and sexy.
He drinks a glass of water, and I leave another by his side of the bed before cleaning him up properly.
He doesn’t even stir.
Chapter 19: Matt
The next morning, Jack seems to be the obvious place to start. He may be the CEO of the philanthropy arm of our family, but Jack looks over every contract and deal involving the family directly. Even Baylor’s songwriting contracts.
We settle in Jack’s conference room. I make Theo coffee while Jack finishes talking to Bishop in the hallway.
Bishop angles toward Jack, keeping whatever he says between them. Jack doesn’t easily let in those outside the family—except for Perrin who stumbled into his life and stayed there. But Bishop he did, even before Bish and Quinn’s love affair was known. Through the glass, Jack carefully watches Theo from the corner of his eye. My oldest brother may be ready to make space for Theo, too.
Baylor is also here because this situation requires both my big brothers. He and Theo exchange a few words and quick smiles. Then they are content to sit together with no need for small talk or casual conversation. Just the companionable silence of two quiet people. It’s the spark of a friendship between kindred spirits, I think.
I hand Theo his coffee as Jack walks in with his own.
“Theo,” Jack says with a smile, “I think we all should thank you for last night and lots of lovely baking before then as well.” He pats his flat stomach before taking a chair across from us, avoiding the head of the table. I sit next to Jack, so this doesn’t seem like an interrogation to Theo.
“I’m sorry,” Theo begins. “For not being honest about things.”
Jack doesn’t lose his smile or change his expression. “Around here, plenty of us understand the need to keep ourselves close to the vest. No reason to feel you should be the exception.”
I appreciate that, the fact that Jack is willing to give Theo the benefit of the doubt sight unseen.
Theo sits up in his chair, hands in tight fists on his thighs as he meets Jack’s gaze, soft but intimidating, nonetheless. “Jordy called me last night.” His voice is quiet, but strong. “You should thank him as well.”
“I did. He called me early this morning to warn me off associating with Lucien’s acquaintance Deny. Something I also passed along to Lucien. I didn’t have much detail, so perhaps you wouldn’t mind talking to Lucien yourself? I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up before too long this morning.”
“Deny . . .” Theo frowns. “Deny is part of a bigger story. One you should hear, I guess. I don’t know how to tell you what I know about him without explaining it all.”
“How do you know him?”
Theo looks at me and then Jack. “Deny thought I owed him money, and he wasn’t always gentle about coming to collect it. He works for my cousin Nico. I owe him, I guess.”
Jack smiles over his own coffee. “Why did you owe Nico money?”
After a deep breath, Theo explains what he told me last night, learning baking first from his grandfather who wasn’t his grandfather. He delves deeper into the tension between him and his cousin, Nico.
