Wow. Good luck.

Thanks. I’ll need it, but what have I got to lose?

Nothing.

You should do the same. Imagine it. You could end up working in Paris or Milan.

I don’t want to imagine it. The only thing I want to fantasise about is what Kyle is going to do to me tonight. Have the toys he ordered arrived yet?

Hayley

That’s my plan anyway. Nothing is keeping me in London.

What about your family?

Planes and trains exist. The world is a small place.

It doesn’t feel small. Even London seems a million miles away right now.

Plus, it would be an adventure and an amazing experience. I want to see my designs on a catwalk or in a glossy magazine one day. Or both! Don’t you?

Yes.

Then Europe is where we need to be.

Is it?

Got to go. It’s time for work. You’re lucky you don’t have to work while waiting for your dream job. Take care.

I am lucky. My parents are the best and always have been. I stare at the email again. Kyle wants me to send it. For now, he’s my Dom. He knows best. I hit Send and then prepare more emails to the other fashion houses I’d love to work for. By the time I’m done, it’s lunchtime.

I’ve been good and sent my urban wild collection to six fashion houses, Sir.

Kyle

Well done, gorgeous. Now all you have to do is wait. I promise someone will snap you up. They’d be fools not to. You’re an amazing designer.

For once, his praise doesn’t excite me.

I’m looking forward to seeing you tonight so I can give you your reward.

Now that’s something to look forward to.

“That was delicious, gorgeous.” Kyle pats his bare stomach with both hands. He was naked when I arrived, but hasn’t asked me to take my clothes off. “I need to cook for you soon as a thank you for all the meals you keep bringing me.”

“It’s no bother to cook a bit extra.” Plus, I like doing things that make him smile. The compliments he showers me with don’t hurt either.

“Let me wash up, and then we can cuddle.”

“I’ll do it, Sir.”

“You don’t have to, beautiful. I can do it.”

“You should relax. You’ve had a long day.”

He arches an eyebrow. “And you haven’t? You sent all those emails.”
