“Yes!”

It was true. He was. He did lots of sweet things that made me swoon every day. I woke up each morning wondering how I could fall more in love with him, but by the end of the day, I had.

“I was thinking,” Xander said as he rested his chin on my head. “It’s been a whirlwind of fun since you got signed.”

“It has.”

“You moved in.”

“And then we both moved out!”

As Xander had anticipated, we’d discovered that his gorgeous apartment was not big enough for two guys. At least, not when one needed a home studio and the other had enough clothes, shoes, and make-up to fill a room. Luckily, a three-bed loft had come up in the same development, so we hadn’t lost our amazing view of the Thames. The new apartment was all on one floor. It also had a much bigger outdoor space. We snagged the largest bedroom—the only one with an en suite—as ours and turned the second largest into Xander’s studio. The smallest had become a wardrobe and dressing area.

“Dillon quit his job and moved closer to us,” Xander said, continuing our trip down memory lane.

I sighed. “He still doesn’t know what he wants to be when he grows up, though.”

“No, but he will,” Xander said confidently.

“I hope so. He seems kind of…lost.”

“Yeah, I know.” I turned and clasped my hands at Xander’s nape. “Your parents finally called and grovelled.”

He grimaced. “I don’t think they grovelled. It was more of a curt apology.”

“They grovelled. It was glorious.”

“Your parents had a quick change of heart the moment you booked your first fashion week.”

“I know, right?”

“It was nice spending Christmas with them all.”

“It was, but we should go away somewhere together next Christmas.”

“Any idea where?” Xander asked.

“No, but we’ll think of somewhere amazing. Together.”

He laughed and kissed me.

I ran my fingers through Xander’s short hair. “You have even more fans. Have you hit a million on YouTube?”

“Not quite, but I’m getting closer.”

“That’s so exciting!”

He hugged me tightly. “Life has been pretty awesome.”

I tilted my head. “It has. Do you know what the best bit is?”

“No, what?”

“Being with you.”

Xander kissed me. “You say all the nicest things.”

“I think that’s why you keep me around.”
