“You asked!”
I hold my hand up. “I rescind my question.”
“Too late. They also want me to wear pretty underwear every day and send them a picture.”
“I’m not listening.”
“And I’m not allowed to be late for anything.”
Okay, nowI’m listening. “How’s that working out for you?”
“I dunno. I haven’t had to be anywhere since they set me that rule. Oh, except the cinema. We got there ten minutes early.” He grins.
“What do you get out of following all these rules?”
He folds his arms. “Well, I would have got laid tonight, butsomeoneis making me babysit instead.”
I cringe. “No need to make me feel guilty.”
“Oh, there is.Twice,” he reminds me. “In a row.”
“And you got up early this morning, I know. I owe you. You’re amazing. Lunch would be great.”
He glares at me. “We’re having salad.”
“Why do I have to eat healthily just because your guys are forcing you to?”
“Because I’m making lunch. If you don’t like it, sort yourself out.”
“Salad is fine.”
Blake slips out the door. I listen as he jogs down the stairs and then pull out my phone.
Corey:Is sex still on offer?
Spence:Yes. Are you coming?
Corey:I hope I will be later.
Spence:Oh, you will be, don’t worry. Seven?
Corey:Sounds great. I might need your address, though.
He texts it to me, and I look up his nearest tube station.
Corey:We’re on the same train line.
Spence:Handy.
Corey:Seven?
Spence:Yes. I’m looking forward to it.
Corey:Yeah, me too.
Hopefully, round two with Spence will be just as intense and mind-blowing as round one but without the audience and the possibility of my brothers walking into the room.
