Once they’re gone, I lean against the door, smiling as I savour the imprint of them on my heart. I grab my laptop, sit on the sofa, and begin to type an email to my parents. Cal and Blake are everything to me, and Idowant to share that happiness with Mum and Dad.

I’ve been buzzing about the kink party all day, so by the time we’re in the play- and chat room, me in nothing but a pair of mid-thigh pleather chaps and a silver G-string, I’m more than ready for Gabe to tie me up. He and Calvin are still fully dressed, which is a shame. However, Calvin did promise he’d make me beg tonight, so maybe that’s one of the things he’s going to tease me with.

“I’m going to start by making a chest harness,” Gabe tells me as he takes the pre-prepared lengths of rope out of his bag. “Is that okay, baby boy?”

I nod eagerly. I want him to turn me into a work of art for everyone to see. Even Archie, who’s in the relaxed chatting room with Hamish. Or at least they were a couple of minutes ago. It’s only the second time I’ve met Hamish. At least this time he was friendly rather than getting mad at Calvin and Gabe. I can see why Archie has fallen for him. He’s got a stern beauty about him.

“I think we should blindfold our princess,” Calvin says thoughtfully.

“I’d like that, Sir,” I say.

Sometimes Gabe blindfolds me; other times he lets me watch what he’s doing. Either way is amazing. When I watch him tying the ropes, I get mesmerised. When I’m blindfolded, I get lost in the way the ropes feel against my skin, firm but not tight enough to bite.

“All right,” Gabe says.

Calvin wanders away to choose a blindfold. He comes back a couple of minutes later with a black one.

“They didn’t have any white ones,” he says before securing it around my eyes.

In the darkness, I stand with my arms by my sides, waiting.

Gabe’s calloused hands slide down my arms to my wrists. “Arms up, baby boy.”

I obey, holding them out to the sides, at shoulder level. A laugh bubbles out of my mouth.

“Something funny, princess?” Calvin asks.

His voice is much closer than I expected. Now that I’m concentrating, I can almost feel him, like our bodies are creating a magnetic field between us.

“Just a silly memory, that’s all.”

“Tell me,” Calvin commands as Gabe secures a rope around my upper chest.

My brow furrows slightly. This is different to the harnesses Gabe has tied around me before. Different is new and exciting.

“I used to hold my arms out like this when I was a kid, pretending to be fighter planes with Archie and Corey.”

“Sounds fun,” Calvin says.

“It was. We’d chase each other up and down the garden, pretending to shoot each other like the fighter planes in the war movies Dad liked to watch. We were six or seven at the time, I think. It’s silly.”

“It’s not silly at all. It sounds like a happy memory.”

“Did you play games like that, Sir?”

“I remember playing British Bulldogs in the school playground,” Calvin muses.

“I’m not sure I’ve heard of that.”

“Seriously?” Calvin laughs. “Fucking hell, princess, I know you’re younger than me, but you’re not that much younger. You played British Bulldogs, didn’t you, Gabe?”

“Yes,” Gabe says. “I was good at it too. Running team. Remember?”

“I remember, Daddy,” I say. “How do you play?”
