“Exactly.”
We both nod.
“He’ll probably get bored of us after a couple of sessions,” Gabe says.
“Maybe four. Two Doms means double the fun, right?”
Gabe chuckles. “Yes.”
“For him,” I add quickly.
“Yes, of course. For him. We’ll keep Blake between us. We never even need to touch.”
My stomach flip-flops. Is that what I want? Oh hell, I’ve no fucking cluewhatI want.
Gabe runs his thumb over his phone. “Shall I text him? To see if he’s still interested?”
“Sure.”
I watch as Gabe taps out a message, wondering what reply I’m hoping for from Blake. I definitely wouldn’t say no to hooking up with him again, but this whole situation with Gabe thrown into the mix is weird. Good weird, I think, but weird nonetheless.
The second Gabe puts his phone down, it pings. He checks the message and then, grinning, turns his phone around so I can see too. I read what Gabe wrote before I check Blake’s reply.
Gabe:Had fun last night. Do you want to do it again?
Blake:Have two hot guys fawning all over me again? Yes, please.
“Well, that’s clear,” I say.
“Yes.” He starts typing on his phone again.
A couple of seconds later, my phone pings with a message. Frowning, I check it. It might be Ivy letting me know my client has arrived early. I chuckle when I see that Gabe has pulled me into a group conversation with him and Blake on a messaging app.
Gabe:If we’re going to play again, we should probably discuss some ground rules first.
Blake:Didn’t we do that last night?
Gabe:Yes, but it won’t hurt to revisit them. Playing as a triad is new to us all. I wouldn’t want to get carried away and accidentally hurt you.
I blow out a short breath, remembering how I smacked Blake too hard last night. Gabe winces and mouths ”I’m sorry.” I shrug. What’s done is done. I can only do better from now on.
Cal:I agree. Should we meet up and discuss this in person?
Gabe:Over dinner?
Cal:Maybe we should eat after we play?
I glance up at Gabe. “You realise this is pretty sad, sitting opposite each other but talking by text?”
He shrugs. “It’s easier this way. Besides, there are things I can say in text that I might not want to say out loud in the middle of a coffee shop.”
“Oh?”
Blake:Talk, play, dinner. Sounds good. When and where?
Gabe:Tonight, at mine? Unless you’d feel safer if we came to yours?
Blake:I’m happy coming to yours. I trust you. Both of you.
